Ben sounds completley different when he plays a depressed character... its weird cuz his entire essence is energy

Yeah, I can so relate to this. I have depression and I’ve been told repeatedly that I don’t sound like myself when I’m feeling down
I watch these when my manic depression hits and it makes it 29% better.

MrBucketList she wasn't funny, she kind of was but the thing that ruined it was she was trying WAY too hard. Plus there's no sincerity in her performance, so comes off as fake. Ben and Tom are very skilled, so hard to act along side them, she was clearly outshined.
@@SistoActivitatemAtm Being fake is kinda the point of the character. Morning show hosts act this way, and they're making fun of them. It's the entire premise of the show: what if a bubbly morning show host was hit with some horrible news and had to keep doing the show.
Justin Z nah, I know that, but believability of character is what I'm talking about. For example, Ben was an exaggerated version of a host but still grounded the role in some sincerity. Not talking about the different stages of grief, but of not being a caricature like the girl. That's why her performance missed, there was nothing real in it. I get that the stereotypical morning host is unrealistically happy, but there's still at least something sincere in those people.
