An Interview with Joyce Yang

At age 15, Joyce Yang was too young to enter Juilliard’s pre-college Concerto Competition - but that didn’t stop her from learning the assigned repertoire: Grieg’s Piano Concerto. Years later, as an accomplished and globally renowned concert pianist, Yang takes centre-stage at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall to perform that sparkling work alongside the Sydney Symphony.
