    How the IP is assigned to this vm LUbuntu ? how dose this vm accept or assign IP to itself?

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Pƙed 3 lety

      Hi Ameet, assuming the host has an internet connection, and you have created a default (NAT) network adapter for your virtual machine, then just stick to DHCP in Ubuntu. It will get an IP address from the host and the host will do the NAT-ting to the internet. Hope that solves your query.

    is it really necessary to learn vmware after cloud comes into picture??

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Pƙed 6 lety +6

      Hello Manikanth, Cloud and VMware are two different things even though if they appear to be similar. This is a short explanation:
      Virtualization is technology that separates functions from hardware, while clouds rely on that split. It's easy to get confused between the two, particularly because they both revolve around creating useful environments for abstract resources. Cheers!!

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Pƙed 5 lety +3

      Hi Sunil, Please follow this procedure:
      1. Select Virtual Machine > Settings.
      2. Click Add Device.
      3. Select Camera.
      4. Click Add. Ordinarily, the default camera of the host system is added to the virtual machine. You can select a camera by name. If a named camera is chosen, the camera of your virtual machine is connected explicitly to that camera.
      Or
      Sometimes the camera and other hardware access will be available on the title bar of the VMware.
