If you had a Time Machine, what moments would you want to relive? 2020 has been one hell of a year, a year in which no events or festivals have taken place, but also a year in which we've been able to reflect on the defining moments in our lives - and for Sub Zero Project, the defining moments in their career. From the initial boom of their The Project theme, through the XPRMNT, The Contagion and then slamming right into 2020 with their Rave Into Space concept, they showcase this flashback through their career with their latest single Time Machine.

At all past Events from Sub Zero Project we've just seen Nigel and Thomas from the future. They always came with their time Maschine so they knew that Corona will come. Because of that, they we're able to Plan "the contagion" in the year before Corona and all of their Sets (Xperiment, contagion and Rave Into Space) were made to make a Hymne out of it that saves the Rave now!

It's actually getting closer and closer to raw style and hardcore elements. So fuck outta here with the repping for hardstyle. Fusion genres isn't pure at all. And I'm all for it. Just don't taint either worlds with mislabelling.

it has been a joke for so many years. the only reason it makes sense to vote, is because it opens the opportunity for your fav. DJ/Producer to get higher paychecks and better / more bookings. i still believe the only artist that should be voted to the top of DJ Mag is Angerfist. that would be interesting! not that i only like him at all, i love all harder genres aswell as many softer genres!

@@JohnKennedy-up3hb Well it is for many reasons that i think angerfist should be the one, all harder music fans should unite behind and vote for.
He has been the highest hard for so many years now, he has been in top 100 of DJ Mag, for just as many years. Also he is actually one of the few that is a REALLY good DJ, while godlike status as a producer!
Angerfist has always been the King of Hardcore and he will continue to be, if he keeps the bar high enough.
Also here is the interesting part:
Many people understand harder genres and respect the music, but there is so much more people who listens to everyday radio music, and don't understand our sound. I think it is super sad because, it shows that they have no real taste in music, because they actually don't listen, like REALLY listen to the music, besides the lyrics. Now im not that big a fan of lyrics, im all about the beat. But only listening to what my friends and family likes is.. living like a sheep imo. Why not find your own sound and music that makes your life happier.
So the reason why having angerfist at the top of a list like this one, is to not just make hardcore more 'mainstream' but to force more harder music into the ears of the sheep. They will start to realize why genres like hardcore is awesome. They will start to realize what is difficult sound design, and most important: They will start to really listen proberly to music and realize what is a good and a bad production, which we have too much of in the mainstream scene.

-also i should note that in this post i mostly aim at people who listens to electronic music, not those who listens only to live music like rock or classical music. It is a different thing with you guys.

Just remember the list has nothing to do with being the best DJ, but to be the most popular DJ or Producer.
I remember a few years back.. not that far back, a DJ who got Ghostproduced was placed #1. That is the ultimate joke. Because they dont make their own music, and they were not even that good at DJing. Lol.

Yeah those kicks are hecking crisp instead of the normally low and "dull" (or capped) kicks in hardstyle. Quite unique and nice signature sound.
