Am I the only one seeing this video in a weird, horizontally squished resolution that makes it hard to view the whole image?
Check the youtube settings and make sure the resolution is set to 720p minimum.
Friend, I have it all original, which I would recommend for an upgrade, the objective being to play as DMR, close to 450 fps.

How’s the quality, particularly the receiver?
I heard/read that the quality and materials are noticeably lacking, and not even close to their CXP line.
In my opinion, and compared to other MK18's that other brands have, like Cyma. It's not bad all and decent. It's not super fancy like the CXP, but it's what you would expect from a traditional AR receiver since it is afterall a replica of the real DD MK18.
So I have the Maxx me Pro that accepts 21.00 to 21.25 will this work with the stock nozzle? Really appreciate the work you put onto your content

@@wyshtechairsoft I've had nothing but problems with my r hopped prometheus and r hopped zci when used in conjunction with the maxx me. If i were to take out the r hop patch what would you suggest to use for more consistency from the maxx me unit? Thanks again for any help
@daven3431 any maxx hopup. Use maple leaf super macaron and omega nub and dont look back. Maxx gen2 hopups like the M4A are made specifically maple leaf buckings.

So if i have the red maxx and wonna put it in ics the only thing is to screw a 11.5mm insert nozzle,and if i have silver maxx to a specna for example i change the insert nozzle with 11mm?!?!

I recently fried the mosfet on my ICS mk18, what replacement mosfet would you recommend for durability and ease of installation?
The perun v2 hybrid. Alot better imo.
@@wyshtechairsoft thanks! just to make sure i got my diagnostic right, the gun wont fire on any mode however when i disconnect and reconnect the battery with the gearbox split open, the gears will spin around a few times on either semi or auto and stop being responsive.
@@wyshtechairsoft also my friends have recommended the gate titan v2, how do they compate to the perun hybrid v2?
@mrbones_7420 It will be more of a pain to install as the SSS gearbox has a big square hole that will be left open when you have a Gate Titan installed. Since the Gate Titan uses a 2nd board, it is barely held in by the gearbox and will vibrate loose and cause issues unless you make modifications to the cover if the sss etu or get the Jefftron SSS etu cover from thier website. With the Perun v2 Hybrid or any single board etu. You dont have to worry about this at all. However, you won't have the bluetooth/app capability. Though, in my opinion, I'd choose the perun over the Titan since it's more simple to install and is more reliable than the Titan.
Sounds like your battery is running low. Try a different lipo.
Hey there, I’m upgrading my ICS DDMK18 very similar to how you did, and I just wondered what sector gear you ended up putting in the gun… the one you shortstroked from the front or the one that you ss from the front and back. I’ll likely be ss two teeth just don’t know which ones to take off. (33k T238, and 18:1 gears. Thanks.
I put a rocket 18:1 gearset in it. Your combo shouldnt need any short stroking if you plan to keep the rifle at or above 400fps on
.20g bbs as it should only shoot roughly 25rps.

The ICS mk18 have the CNC body? , I want to know what is the best mk18 brand to buy it and upgrade
In my opinion, the ICS MK18 is the highest quality. Ive tested the Cyma, Specna Arms, and even the GBBR Golden Eagle MK18. The ICS is much nicer and easiest to do work on. As you seen in the video, its split type gearbox makes it easy to do work on.
G&P and VFC also have AEG Mk18 replicas....

is the perun the most reliable electronics or is there something better?
Perun etu's is the most reliable I've ever used. Right up there with perun would be Jefftron Leviathan.
Peruns are simple to install and with a warhead perfect combo

No need to use a dremel on the lower gearbox to get the Jefftron ETU to fit?
Do you know if it's the same split gearbox in ICS CES-P MP5 and possible to change to Gate/Jefftron ETU?
For the leviathan, you hust need to dremel a relief on the upper gesrbox so it doesnt smash the pcb when you close the upper receiver to the lower.
I do not know if the CES-P MP5 uses the same gearbox shell. I havent messed with one yet to know. Either way I am sure you could even if you had to slightly mod it in some way. Heck, a KWA gearbox didnt stop me from putting a Perun v2 hybrid in it.

Yea, I guess almost anything is possible with the right ammount of "elbow grease". I resently fitted a Gate Aster in a PTS Magpul Masada gearbox, it has a micro switch trigger stock from factory. A lot of dremeling/sanding and cutting up a square hole for the selector plate sensors.

Hey, i got ICS MK18 S3 and i would like to know what bucking and nub is best to buy for upgrade, cuz stock ones are not keeping same pressure for BB's in hopup, so i can see some fly straight and some higher and others
Sounds like you got a torn bucking. I recommend the Maple Leaf Super Macaron 60 degree and Modify flat nub. That'll let you hop .32g bbs and get ridiculous range for an assault rifle.

Why maple leaf over flat?
Does better and lasts alot longer.

@@c8_s6 The Super macaron 60 degree. Use the Maple leaf omega nub for the best hopup consistency.

(Length, barrel diameter and brand ?)I mostly play inside with 0.25 or 0.28g bb’s i am targeting 1.4 joule and 380fps thank you again! also is there anything else you think is mandatory upgrade for that gun? i only bought a hop up for now.
@c8_s6 It's honestly good as it is for indoor usage. The stock barrel is pretty good as it is, and you won't notice much of a difference unless you get an Edgi or Pdi barrel of the same length. Maybe a brushless motor and perun v2 hybrid mosfet later down the road. Not much to upgrade to be honest.
Hi, Dose ICS SSS. III mosfet works with brushless motor? I would like to upgrade brushless motor in my mk18.
It does, but the SSS isn't reliable.

It does have active braking as it does a decent job at preventing overspin.
@@wyshtechairsoft How come you recommend brushless (BL) motors to be used with it🤔. Can the Active breaking (AB) be disabled/turned of in the ICS SSS mosfet/ETU?
AB by the ETU is not recommended (only VERY low AB should be used if it's absolutely needed with BL motors) with BL motors since it messes with the BL's own AB and with the BL's ESC that controls the AB, it can even "burn" the ESC in the BL motor.
One absolutely ugly foregrip ruins the whole thing
