    Jamaica have all the natural remedies and super foods that the young people are too lazy to cultivate so I am so happy to see these young people choose to grow what they eat and eat what they grow.. I hope they're able to sell some of what they grow to get an income... Just WOW - I love it!!

Didn't know that medicinal effect of Chena flowers. Nature is therapy. Years I haven't seen the cocoon. My mom had it in her water when we were growing up.True purpose of the annatto. I have some seeds in my cupboard, bring back from yard. This video reminds me of my childhood, enjoyed

    • @beverleyclarke7327
      @beverleyclarke7327 Před 3 lety +1

      @@bevianaschronicles I used the seeds to colour my oil by dropping them in the heated oil for 5minutes to infuse the oil when I am frying fish or salt fish fritters. This give the food colour rather than a white finish product. I would love some of those green pods as their seeds gives a stronger colour than when dried.. Back in the days there was export for annatto, turmeric, ginger, pimento,corn but things has changed. A sweet memories.

      When we were there and saw how the children were just happy and free we thought the same thing about the children from the urban areas. It is a bit sad. Thanks for stopping by, Erica. We hope you stop by again when we do part 2 of the tour.

    This is a beautiful video excursión, however, the music is extremely distracting. Keep it organic...not everything requires music. I would have loved to hear everthing all participants had to say. Thanks for the video..my parish St. Bess

      Thanks for stopping by, Happy Reader. St. Elizabeth is indeed a beautiful parish and we can't seem to get enough of it. Where else in St. Bess would you recommend that we visit?
