I don't know her from nowhere but if the comments section says her name is Sarah then Sarah can blow. Brilliant casual rendition of a bonafide classic . Bravo.
Wish I could be at a party like this
Such a great jam! When Sarah sings, it's magic
@idswart Maybe cuz I'm in it, I feel the same way, but I really thought this was an exclamation mark on an amazing evening of music. I'm so glad you've enjoyed it. :) Steve
Uplifting ambiance! Wish I could have been there. Thank you for posting!
Such a sweet vibe! Love it ❤️
this is an amzing version of this song..
Beautiful jam!
This makes me miss all my music-jammin friends in Ohio!!!! :) Thanks for this wonderful post-- totally made my night!
I'd give my left leg to hang out and play with these folks! Outstanding.
ahhhhhh they are so amazing.
Damn.
Nothing but goosebumps.
Jarosz can sang.
I'd like to live it, just that... the filing! simple, strong, beautiful thing.
Superbe !
I agree. I had to pinch myself. And I got the chance to add a little harmonica. When they are staring back over their shoulders and smiling, it's cuz the harp came in and they didn't expect it. I guess they liked it. I know I enjoyed it.
i clicked on five stars twice,,, give them a big ten!
No rating would do this justice. Beautiful...
Oh shit! And just found out the Rose Garden Coffee house is 30 mins from where I live now (in RI). Oh, the great wonders of this great world. :)
Excellent!
I'm not going to lie: the part that got me was about a minute in when the mandolin players says "sixth minor" and the band follows. There's something organic about musicians not just engaging in some open jam but really pulling together by the seat of their pants and putting a complete song together. Thanks for putting this up!
Amazing!!!
I LIKE IT VERY MUCH
I love this!
The only thing that was missing was me in the corner burning one enjoying their talent. Good job guys!
oh my wow
Very nice :)
JAM!
From the angle the camera was in she looked like Gillian!
Nice female voice in the backround singing harmony!
I'm pretty sure that's Aofie O'Donovan
Who are the others players?
I clapped at the end of a damn CZcams video. What's wrong with me?
Replace that ball cap with a cowboy hat and you've got a young David Rawlings on mandolin!
this is a great cover but for me nothing beats the original ever. just like anais mitchell's ''shepherd''
Smoking........
Yes, sorry, we harmonica players (and others) call harmonica a harp. Not the stringed instrument of angels, but the instrument of folkies and bluespeople....lol
Lol, and a "mouth harp," besides. Not to be confused with a "jaw harp." ;)
Pretty good jam, but 16 yr old AJ Lee has a version on youtube that's better. Better vocals definitely.
Would have been nice if you had provided the link. This was a thrown together jam by folks who had never played it together before. It was a fun time. Would love to see AJ's version, too. Bring it on.
steveide59 I did post a link 2 wks ago and somebody deleted it..? I read it here myself.
alan4sure Puzzling then, cuz I don't delete much. Please provide it again for others to check out.
I agree .....this was nice but AJ does it better..............
I suspect Gillian does it better than all of them ;-) ... but whatever....both AJ's version and this one, I think, are lovely versions of the song.
