Yeah, made me wish I had a partner in crime I would share interests with and could've work on something fun together. Not what I was expecting from the devlog-kind of video, haha. On the flipside, until (and if) I find that person, I can focus on being that person for myself.
I would recommend that you adjust the background color palette or reduce the saturation. The foreground elements and the character tend to blend with the background, making it difficult to keep track of things
Wow, the colours look a bit different, I think they're a little more vibrant, it's hard to tell. It looks so much better! This game is coming along really nicely, the art is so inspiring! Can't wait for the next devlog!
My wife and I run a game publishers together. I design and she writes. It’s so great to be able to just pop next downstairs and share inspirations, triumphs and even worries.
Really beautiful game! I am really looking forward to its release. I played Celeste a while back and I really enjoyed it, and I have a feeling I would enjoy this too!
Ever since I started learning Godot, your channel and Devlog kept popping up in my feed. And let me just say I'm so amazed and pumped up to continue studying hard so I can create creative games like your team does. You earned another subscriber!
Being able to work as a team on art is such a cool thing. You really have a great workflow =)! Plus, the art looks super adorable and has great shape language ❤️
Well with that methode we can be sure you both like the art you make xd, I'm exited to play the game! (And I'm proud to be the first like, 34sec after the video got published ^^)
Hi cuz! That's awesome you two are making a game! I've wanted to lone wolf an indie development on and off for a while now. Way to make your goals a reality!
Hi! I see you're not using outline. I would love a video about tips and principles you keep in mind when creating pixelart with no outline. It feel like keeping a strict palette is really hard whan doing that but yours seem really nice and it seem like your palette isn't that huge.
Wow, when I ask my husband opinion on some assets I make we almost always argue. I wonder how you manage your communication so that you can collaborate on almost every asset. (I envy you so much ;p)
😂 Noah and I definitely do argue about art decisions. It takes practice and patience to cooperate together… plus it helps that we each have our specialties. For example: I get final say on color and Noah gets final say on animation.
I pray that Jesus shows Himself to you guys ❤ that's so cool that you are married and do this work together. Warms my heart. Look into Jesus! He is alive and real, and He gave Himself for you two!
So cool that you two are married, thats a real team right there 😂

Nice to see an Art Devlog along a series. These are seldom available 🎉

Thank you! We’ve been working on increasing vibrancy and contrast with gradients and overlays. Glad it’s helping!
Really nice to have more details about the art and the process! Thank you for sharing! 🔥💪🔥
Thats really a nice artwork flow loved it!!!
I am happy for you both
LETS GO! Sounds like a super cool game!
This game is absolutely gorgeous. What a wonderful process and team the two of you make!
We love representation of artists woo

This is awesome. It's great to hear from the rest of the team
Seeing the process REAL artists go through to make a scene is crazy to me, made me realise how inefficient my process is 😅
We've learned a lot of ways to streamline our design process while making this game. We still feel it's pretty messy, so you're not alone!
Really beautiful game! I am really looking forward to its release. I played Celeste a while back and I really enjoyed it, and I have a feeling I would enjoy this too!
This is sooooo cool :) love seeing this process in action

Thats actually really cool that you work together so well!!
It would be really cool for every member of the team to do a small devlog each, maybe even just 1 or two minutes each! I loved this art devlog!
its so amazong that the two of you have the same art style, and also count on each other, nice!
just watching this while I'm making a small pixel art by myself! This looks so goood!

Lots to say on this subject! We’ll keep it in mind for future videos. 👍🏻
The main character kind of looks like the main Celeste so you should probably make a minor change the design
