- In the year 16 BCE, the people of Jerusalem are awaiting the birth of the son of Imran. Instead of the much-anticipated "Massiah", a girl is born to Imran and Anna. The latter names her Mary, which means "Servant of God". At the age of six, Mary is presented at the Temple, and remains there under the protection of the priest Zechariah until she turns sixteen.
While in seclusion, Mary spends all of her time in labour and prayers, and is harassed by the Jewish priests. She achieves such holiness that the angel Gabriel appears to her, foretelling that she will bear a holy man. She later gives birth to Jesus.

My background was catholic but I never heard before the life of Mary and seeing this seties with my son we feel the TRUTH coming from it. Thsnk yiu for sharing. And now I hope we all will be united under God again as brothers and sisters

Is this a true representation of the story of Mary from the Quran or an adapted version? I need an objective response, please.
I’m sure it is, even though the series doesn’t have many episodes. 🤷♀️🤨
It's not just a story, it's a real history. It is compiled according to information from Quran and authentic sources. Less information is taken from the Bible, because there are many inconsistencies in the biblical narrative. And seeing the acting of the actress in this movie, it seems like she is the real mother Mary
All the event are from Quran. Some are references only which are elaborated of course for screenplay.
For example; food from heaven is mentioned but it was grapes or fruits or how it camedown from heaven is screenplay and adaptive.
So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariyya. Every time he entered the Mihrab to (visit) her, he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: “O Maryam! From where have you gotten this” She said, “This is from Allah.” Verily, Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit.
