Also it seems all the females in this universe are a little to put it simply THICC.
I believe that the oversized characters also add to the challenge cause it can be difficult cause if you position them in a bad spot that can bite you when you need to move the character you are currently into hiding so before you have to switch to a different character it's best to leave them in a hiding spot and out of the way before the catcher comes.
Something that wont add up to the players, is how fast they sprint...

THE ENDING WAS SO WHOLESOME! THE SHADOWCATCHER QUITTING HIS JOB AND HELPING SAM AND MAUDE SERVING FOOD TO THE SHADOWS, THE SHADOWS BECOMING THE MAIN CUSTOMERS. IT'S JUST SO WHOLESOME!

Not gonna lie but that death screen following with those words was so dark I had literal chills up on my spine. P.S. Fusion is one of the most bravest, players to play these horror games or anything horror, and easy scary- games, I could never attempt to do it.

@@Quirt946 Maybe animal characters are easier to make than humans, or it makes it more unique. Unless you're talking about how they are all... "thick" then the 1st game is so Mama is limited in hiding places, and this game, well, not sure about this one, but it looks pretty funny/good.

I find this game really wholesome for some reason... like, they came to this diner for good food for 3 nights before coming back again with tons of friends, not to mention for the first 3 nights they risked their entire lives because of the shadowcatcher. Maude and Samantha are pretty nice so no comment but they're also wholesome. I like the Kid especially cause well, he seems really excited to be eating at Maude's dinner.
I really like how most of the main characters are plus sized. The chests seem a little exaggerated and... Weirdly "detailed" but hey it's still nice to see some plus sized rep.
Its because most protagonists are either really small, or skinny. So he has our protagonists being obese players so that its harder to survive

But he lost his crowbar in the end of hl2 cuz it got disintegrated when he got the supercharged gravity gun and then his gravity gun stopped being supercharged wich sucked so he can't even pick people up anymore so he can't kill the shadow catcher!

I got a stupid theory; The reason screen goes black when a character dies is because we dont see through main characters' eyes anymore but we are seeing through the shadowcatcher's eyes. And the person that dies is actually the shadowcatcher. I know its stupid but hear me out, Whenever shadowcatcher finishes his sprint and reaches the characters, they hit him with the spatula and the screen goes black. And the reason why you need to restart the game is because you arent restarting the game but restarting his heart with a defibrilator since opening the game uses electricity. This also explains how (spoiler starts) the shadowcatcher started working there for no reason (spoiler ends). and thats probably why he moves slowly and seems to ignore the characters when hes looking through the glass. Oh also the explanation for that text that appears after a character dies is because shadowcatcher wants to make you sad so you will be more careful.
This game teaches us that some scary things arent as bad as we think imagine if a shadow family walked in your restaurant they just ask to order some food
Think of Courage The Cowardly Dog and this game you connect them

I loved this gameplay, i watched EDD play it, BTW; MAUDE CAN LEAVE THE KITCHEN, YOU GOT STUCK. ALSO very glad to see this game actually be played from start to finish, when edd played it he quit on the final night, the shadow watcher becomes a good guy apprently like the villain in one of their other games, no spoilers.
