    Thank you, Nikki! This is a really good video for us beginners at the gym. My husband and I started at Planet Fitness 2 weeks ago, and are really enjoying it. Our facility does have a trainer. We talked with him about what we wanted as far as results and he has put together a routine for us. He has walked us through each machine we are using and watched us for form, etc. I am 70 years old, NOT athletic at all and very sedentary. I really want to work on strength training, balance, endurance, etc. After the first time there, I have not worried about being seen or whatever. (Which is HUGE for me!) Everyone is doing their own thing and concentrating on their workout. People of all ages are there, some very buff, some not at all, but working on treadmill etc. If I can do it, anyone can! :D Thanks again!!

    I love your videos. I just found you on tik tok and I’m starting ww again after gaining my weight back and more. I love how you support ww but also know what works for you. I love the gym but my gym anxiety has gotten to me. This video is motivating me to get back into it. Thank you for this and congrats on all your progress!

    Have you thought about going to a gym where you can work on actual barbell and other plate loading machines to get more than just a smith machine ? I only use a smith machine at my gym if I can’t get a squat rack or set up for bb hip thrusts or bb dead lifts on the floor. I used to go to planet fitness but at your level you might really enjoy a place where you can progress to more challenging weightlifting. I go to Esporta gym which is just a little bit more than planet fitness but has so much more to offer .

      It is definitely something I have thought about it's just that my options for gyms aren't the greatest! A lot of the gyms are sooo much busier than planet at all times or wayyy priciers but it is something I am thinking about! I would love to have a squat rack!
