Things don't get settled down after Ibrahim Pasha's death.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah isn't a friend. She challenges her enemies after having Suleiman in her corner. She lays on entertainment in the harem as it's still being mourned for İbrahim Pasha. This drives Hatice to distraction. As Mihrimah gets disappointed by Yahya of Taşlıca's attitude, Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey returns in İstanbul. He informs Suleiman that it will be attempted to assassinate him. Hatice vows vengeance against Hürrem and gets Diana in the harem to kill her.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah has different aims and doesn't wait for too long to get her claws out. She lays on entertainment in a harem after a short time İbrahim died. Hatice loses her temper after learning this and comes into the harem to stop it.
Malkoçoğlu gets attacked on his way to the capital. However, he and his men manage to get over the attack. On the other hand, the effect of İbrahim's death continues. The Pope thinks that Suleiman is left alone and takes an action to end him.

It’s quite amusing. On one hand “family is everything” on the other hand; zero understanding that Hurrem also put family, aka her own kids, first. It’s their first own precious traditions who costs innocent princes their life and make their mothers ruthless intrigue makers. I don’t believe Hurrem is a sympathetic character, but I can’t blame her for fighting for her kids life’s with tooth and nails.
Even if Mustafa would spare his brothers life’s (and that would be considered a sign of weakness) his mother have made it clear that she wouldn’t let Hurrem’s sons to stay alive.
If that happened and mustafa didn’t kill his brothers she surely would of made a scheme and make it seem the enemies killed them

Compared to how cruel mihrimah was towards Asma's love for Mehmet, she was a kind elder sister when huichihan feel in love with Byazid

Neither mother would have supported such marriage even if it were possible. It was also forbidden because it would give one more power over the others when succession time came.
