Nice
Thank you, 🌹🦋
It would be cool if there was a channel like yours for every big city in the world...
That would be cool too!
Brontosaurus get started in ur city
im doing that
@ATCkeepsUsafe Just walking in the streets, in 4k, without any music, any non-stop-talking or vlogging stuff... It's not that common..
OMG so many memories for me. I would walk home from Lehman HS that way. I would come home from work in Manhattan and get off at ‘The Square’ . I would walk to my 2 friends’ houses on Tremont the same route you took. It’s like I’m home again. Thank you for a great walk in my ol’ neighborhood.
You’re welcome! Glad I could bring you back home.
Barton...read my reply post above...Remember ???
I used to go to Lehman High School as well! I used to live on Edwards Ave. exit 2 off the Hutchison River Park Way.
Thanks for the memories... grew up in Throggs Neck during 60-70s. Great to see how much is still there!
Nothing like The Bronx!
I’m always used to seeing images of the south Bronx. This part of the Bronx looks soo different , the layout is more open and spread out looking. Very interesting 👍
Very interesting " neck " of the woods...Bronx has a beauty all it's own.. thanks for this video..keep up the great work.
Moved out of NYC 11 years ago. This was my stomping grounds. Thanks for the great memories. Happy I left but my heart is still there.
I live here. Never knew we still had this beauty. Thanks.
My Grandparents lived on Calhoun Ave off of Bruckner Blvd. they are buried in St Raymond’s. Watching this brought back so many wonderful memories from my childhood. Thank you.
This video was excellent as alway! Thank you Actionkid you're my favorite CZcams sensation!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I walk that every damn DAY
WHO REMEMBERS CALLING THE END OF PENNYFEILD..
THE FORT??????....
righttttttttttt
That was a nice long walk. In the 1980's I lived between the Park Parkchester and Castle Hill train stop and road my bike down Westchester Avenue and went all the way down East Tremont Avenue till the end and rode back home. Thanks for the memories. P.S. I hope you didn't have to walk back. You have good high quality video.
Wow! thank you for sharing you're in my neighborhood
so beautiful.... and peaceful... and quit... so goooood
When I see your video, I first like, and then I watch.
I graduated from Lehman High School in June 1977.I signed up at that same U.S. Army recruiter station, & went into the Army on Sept. 27, 1977. I served honorably for 17 years. My neice attended Lehman. Memories. Unfortunately, the neighborhood has changed. I am a New York girl 4 ever. But, I don't plan on returning ".
Kearney Ave... My chilldhood and true home right next to baseball field where I used to play ball... I will always miss you. 58:55
The Bronx has many nice areas. I enjoy all your Bronx videos, thank you for taking the time to produce them. I ❤️ The Bronx
I love how you included the walk from the subway, too. Thanks!
You’re welcome!
Action you dont know how you made my day when i turned on you tube and saw you made a video in "Da Neck". Thanks man !
I love this place with all my heart
wow !! ... you always surprise me haha !! ... very beautiful !! Thanks actionkid! 💝
Seems nicer than I expected, good job...as usual
Great walking as usual! Love your walks AK!
Thank you!
Thanks for a great sentimental journey to walk the streets I spent so much of my youth walking. From the Bronx kid born and raised, now living in Australia. Cheers thanks again.
I don’t understand why I enjoy your videos so much.. It’s like I’m taking a walk through Time Square, in the comfort of my own home!! 😁♥️
Very interesting, really enjoyed watching this! For four years in the early 70's I was station on a Navy destroyer @FtSchuyler. It was great to see how the area changed.
I went to Maritime. I remember the destroyer and when the pier burned down
@@corporalpunish6089 May I ask, about what year did the pier burn down?
Challenging my memory on that one Chet. I grew up in Throggs Neck but dont recall the exact year. Was gone by the time I started at Maritime in 1982. Guessing mid 70's???
Chet: We kids would find horseshoe crabs washed up on the beach at Fort Schuyler. St Francis de Chantel still that way?
I used to live at the end of East Tremont Ave in Schurz Avenue! Brings back memories!
Really enjoy your videos! Nice skies and interesting looking houses.
Thank you!
Memories.
1 yr before Covid "started" creeping up on us.
Thank you for sharing! 😊
The best recording you did, thank you! NY down town is beautiful but this area is just normal, natural, as I can see over the window. You made my Saturday
Thank you! It's always good to see a different part of New York once in awhile.
Some parts of the Bronx look like certain areas around Atlanta. I enjoyed this video, very nice walk and beautiful weather.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing...
Thank you for sharing Actionkid. I have a friend who lives in Throgs Neck but have never.been to visit. I enjoy all your walking videos of the NYC area!
You’re welcome 😃
Remarkable ActionKid! I never have seen the Bronx neighborhoods you walked through. Plus to see the actual location of the Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home (56.37). The Little Sisters are celebrating their 150th anniversary of arriving in NYC from France. Now they have homes in many locations in the US. And finally the NY Maritime Academy. Just great. Thanks. Bill
Tooooo generous 😍😍thank you 😘
Beautiful sky 🙂
Grew up in Throgs Neck from the 50-60s! PS71 & 72, JHS 101, and Christopher Columbus HS. There even was a drive-in movie! Miss that peaceful life.
Thanks for the memories....
Saw the house I grew up in at 50.00. What a trip! thanks for the wonderful trip back in time.
You’re welcome 😃
This place is a haven away from the rest of the city...
Dem albanian boys different tho, if you aint they race theyll escort you out of throgsneck
But you right bro
Followed you in google street view.... nice walk and a very interesting area, especially the college and the view at the end. Thank you, Actionkid, as always.... :-)
You’re welcome! This is a very nice area
Very cool! Haven't been there. I miss the big apple.
Awesome video. I graduated from Lehman High School It’s was amazing to see White Castle and Westchester sq. Thank you kid
Awesome!
Lehman class of 2011 ! .. went to school wit cardi b and chris rivers (baby pun) during those years.
My old neighborhood.. Thanks a lot
Happy I could bring you back to the old neighborhood!
My boyfriend job is on the next block after the train station on ferris avenue
Thank you for sharing your incredible videos of NY !! I'm very interested in purchasing a Go Pro Hero7 myself because of your videos! How do you mount it to yourself? I've noticed many people you pass on your journey are oblivious to the fact you're recording. Can you make a video on how to prepare yourself for a "walk" video?
You’re welcome! I use my GoPro with a FeiyuTech G6 gimbal and hand hold the stabilizer at chest level. I always make sure I have enough batteries on hand for a trip!
I lived on Tremont and Harding (in the 70s). You walked right passed my house. The place has not changed at all. Amazing!!! I played in that Little League field more towards the end of the video. Thanks
Awesome! 😎
My school in the 90s and I hangout in St. Peter’s park.......the good old day’s......
Hey AK👋Nice day for a stroll. ☺
Good morning. Youre a long way from home for this video arent you? .. I loved all those big planes flying over.
Nice, thanks. My husband is from E. Tremont, Parkchester.
Very nice!
Geez that's one big cemetery 😯😯
St Raymond's cemetary is huge, alright, but Cypress in Brooklyn is inmensr
Lugar lindo fascinante
Your country has so clean air ,in India we have lots of pollution air quality is so bad I have never seen such clear atmosphere in my entire country
This was a particularly fine day. We do have air pollution problems, but probably not nearly as severe as yours.
i am from germay and i love your videos
Cool!
Belo video.
I lived in Westchester Square from 2, then we moved to Co-op. Much of my family is buried in St Raymond's Cemetery. Interesting, down home, places to live and grow up.
no need to say all your videos are pretty cool! u already know my opinion! :-)
L-O-N-G WALK, but another interesting video!!!!! The 3 best sections of the Bronx is THROGS NECK, RIVERDALE and CITY ISLAND!!!! All 3 neighborhoods have amazing river views with the most expensive housing costs in the Bronx!!!!
Don't forget Pelham Bay, Pelham Parkway and Co Op city.
Grew up in Throggs Neck. Went tro Lehman H.S. @ 7:48 . Worked in that McDonalds @ 33:05 when I was 16 yrs old (I'm 56 now). Store on right at 41:01 was a "Finast Supermarket". If you made a right here (where those 3 people are going), my house was down that street in the Projects (Dewey Ave.). That "CitiBank" at 43:40 was an A&P Supermarket. The brick building on the left with the red door is "Engine 72" FDNY. The area on the right beginning at 1:01:10 is called "Silver Beach" and runs all the way to Fort Schuylar Maritime". Had a buddy, Roger Major that lived up the block at 1:07:17 in front of that car up on the left. And last, two things in the shot at 1:10:14 . The yellow chain link fence on the left used to be where I worked in a hot dog truck when there was a boat yard there and across the street on what we called "The Wall" was where I used to hang out. GREAT memories ...Thank You SOOO much for the upload! :)
Wow! Super cool! Thanks for sharing all your awesome memories with us!
Nice 👍
Yes.. I know this area well.
Great video, thanks! Have you ever done Pelham Bay Park to Orchard Beach? Walked it many times in my youth. Back then, we used a shortcut through woods and some grassy area. I don't know how safe it would be now.
I've only walked that route once but I've been there plenty of times on my bicycle. I'll need to go back eventually to make a video there. I'm sure there are many shortcuts through all those woods!
@@ActionKid Great!
Oh my neighborhood, Throgs Neck
Yay! 😃
North Bronx. Has been always the well kept section,Pelham Garden,Morris Park,Williams brige,Throggs Neck,Baychester,Co-op city, ActionKid you riding the Pelham #6 Woodlawn Heights a must see, I'am in Riverdale, visit Fieldstone,Sputyn Duyvil ( stand for Devil whirpool
Hey love your videos! Please try to visit the Denizen Bushwick building at 123 Melrose Street, and see if the public park that was promised is open, last time I visited a few months ago it wasn't
If I’m ever in the area again I’ll take a look
@@ActionKid BTW I went by there today. Still a ways to go before the public park is complete.
Shame it isn't open yet 😢
Dude do a video going to City Island so people can check it out. I think it would be awesome!
I've watched lots of your video's lately because I have always wanted to visit New York, but living in Australia so far away, it's not cheap. So thank you for sharing these video's with the world.
Now, the one thing that surprises me about nearly all of the places you go, except for the "rich areas", is how much garbage there is laying around and how poor condition everything is. I thought everything in America was the best in the world. Why is there so much garbage everywhere and why are thongs so run down...?
Thank you for watching my videos!
The reason why there is garbage around is because the people who litter don’t care for the environment and there isn’t enough garbage pickup in the city. It’s really a shame and people need to do their part.
same for us Americans in the US.... that want to travel to Australia, from NYC... it's over $1,000
Great stroll, I enjoyed it very much! The last part is particularly beautiful ❤️
And, i think, did you capture a Manhattan skyline view there just at the very end?
Nope that’s the Queens skyline 🏙
@@ActionKid ohh, good!
Cool
Saw one of my favorite street photographers today on the streets while shooting photos, next up, too find ActionKid in the wild!
This makes me homesick :(
Looks much more peaceful that I imagined it
yep NYC has cleaned up tremendously after the 90's, certain parts of the Bronx back in the 80's looked like it was bombed....not today pretty much all of NYC is clean.
There are parts of the city which are more peaceful than others
Good morning Kid it looks like Jackson Height Roosevelt Station here in Queens
I enjoyed your video. However, I wish you would have zig zag in and out of a few blocks to give a better idea of what the neighborhood is like. Overall I enjoyed it. Thank you.
Walked that route every day coming home from Lehman when the bus was too full to get on
Good morning. My friend.
the area at the end of video seems silent and cozy, but where sidewalks. its so dangerous to go on a roadside. not all life to drive the car, isn't it) anyway, good walk and excellent weather, with a cool view of bridges: Throgs Neck & Whitestone.
and I apologize for bad eng.
Da Bronx is tough!
i remember jacks diner on the sq
Walk pass my favorite White Castle
Look at my boys blue srt and him sitting Infront if his house 46:17 😂😂😂 that’s crazy
8:23 hahaha dat sound
Grew up on Randall and Wilcox
would be funny if while pressing the wait button it was ready to cross it said go go go .
Along with missing New York it’s smelling the ocean air
ActionKid and all your subscribers, Didn't all, you notice there is wooden poles for lamposts, most have transformers,in stormy weather, this place have power outages, in the South BRonx, everything is underground
I live close by this area just a bus ride away lol
Oh nah bro. Thats where my school is.
Eu faria qualquer coisa para morar num lugar desse.e sair daqui do Brasil
👍🔥🔥🔥
9:30 - WAIT.. WAIT... WAIT... - You can't say that, that's body shaming.
10:22 Planting trees under electric wiring is a genial idea. 🤦♂️ Here in my city you also have these urban geniuses: czcams.com/video/3ElrBUDHmhw/video.html
Still watching, not finished.
Nice video, peaceful, I like it. Half sunny half shade is not that great for the image tho. Thanks
Thank you, glad you liked it!
I’m woallakin eeeeeere!
