Derek can still sing like a young man. It is great to hear his fine guitar playing skills. Regarding his voice, I think he is routinely passed over. But he has one of the best voices in rock and roll. I saw the band in the 1970s just when the Free For All album was released. The warm up bands were T Rex, and Ronnie Montrose with Sammy Hagar. I had main floor seats about the 40th row at the Amphitheater in Chicago.
First time in almost 50 years i was able to understand the lyrics to this song. Derek is the only one who can sing this song with the power it deserves.

St. Paradise is one of my all-time favorite LPs. It's a shame he never followed that up.
Chops. Always liked him with Nuge. Super tight live band. Great session players.
The camera work is great: it is steady on the group of musicians. The musicians are the performers and not the cameraman and editor.
Derek rocks
Charlie is still a Beast on bass.

Any drummers out there notice the left handed drummer playing on a right handed setup? Must be the way he learned.
Where is this recorded?
They're good. The sound is too dry. Needs crushing non digital qualities like when we all saw him in the 70's. A little out of control. That, is r&r.
