I met him at a comic con. I paid for an autograph and he signed the way I asked him to. I was able to talk with for awhile. I asked him about the show and he was very nice. He let me take a picture with him for free, and he let me put my arm around him and he put his arm around me and the picture came out great.
My elderly mother just thought that Bill O'Reilly here was Jon Provost! soon as it started she said "is that him" When they were showing Bill getting ready to introduce Jon Ughhh!
The TV series "Lassie" started out with Tommy Rettig playing the role of Jeff Miller. Reruns of the Rettig years were called Jeff's Collie. In the first two seasons of Lassie with Rettig the show was awarded an Emmy for best children's program. It never received that award since then.
