- Slash's Snakepit released an awesome album in 2000 - Ain't life grand. This is the opening track "Been there lately".

I record and mix through a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 (first gen)

I use Reaper for the little editing I do and a few master plugins. Will probably mix in the box more later on, but for now (2020) i think i will stick with the StudioLive until i feel I've got the hang of it 🙂.

Now we're talking. Slash is the reason I play and wrote my ideas on the guitar. And I love this album. There are some many great song on it. the song Serial Killer is my favorite one.

Big slash fan. Know nothing in terms of drums but is this song very involved in terms of drums? It just seems so compared to other drum covers I've watched. Including the sacred Appetite...! Lol.

Thanks! It's all mixed in the Presounus StudioLive 16.4.2 console (HPF, Gate/Expander, Comp, EQ) and then some Waves C4 to even out the levels, and a volume boost with Slate FG-X in the DAW
Dude, your drums sound fucking incredible, what snare are you using? It is the perfect hard rock cannon! Also, this is a criminally underrated album, the singer is a monster and the production is picture perfect. Glad I discovered your channel!
