I wanted to share this piece from Darkness Eternal, it might be a bit early to post halloween-y music but I know there are tons of people (including me) who are already looking forward to the gloomy, foggy autumn time. I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =)
USAGE:
If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =)
On CZcams and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way!
ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required.
If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except CZcams and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed.
Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects.
Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music.
Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion).
So if your project is non-commercial or a CZcams project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal.

~ "His words almost bit into my soul and the heaviness of truth was unbearable. From the ballroom I heard a beautiful melody and closed my eyes. This music...I wish I was still alive....
Somehow I found strength to get up and follow the sound. My body felt heavy and I didn't know which was worse.. the pain of the flesh or that of the soul. Yet every step I took was a small victory. I tried so hard to go on surviving but I was a completely helpless and weak vampire. Not a new born vampire but not an ancient one either. The pure bloods would often mock my presence in the castle, considering those like me nothing more than servants. I was a servant hoping to become better, stronger. But my frail body couldn't withstand the vampire existence. There were rules. It was a mistake but I kept on fighting to live. If living was what you could call it.
My brother was right, there was nothing there for me except for oblivion and more death, abundant and terrifying. As I approached the ballroom, the air was becoming dense with the scent of incense and that of living blood. It almost made me faint but I kept going. I couldn't withstand my weakness and that thirst, which I couldn't get used to. It ravaged me as much as it did them.
I walked the long corridor like a hidden pathway to my long lost memories but it all felt empty, lifeless like a spent candle where only the smoke remained. The pain was old and the heart never forgot. The wound was somehow covered yet deep down it was never healed. My slumber was plagued with numerous nightmares and I was damned to relive those days over and over again.
The sound was getting louder as I was getting closer, and I could tell how gifted was the artist invited to entertain them. It was no surprise though, seeing a living breathing human in this lair of death was nothing new. The eyes were blindfolded but their hands played the instrument beautifully after having mastered this art of seduction of the ears. Even as vampires, they would still appreciate and enjoy the pleasures of the mortals. For them it was just entertaining, like listening to the thrills of a nightingale. For us servants, it was pain. Pain that reminded of what we've left behind. It soothed and pierced our hearts at the same time. Music...the lesser of two evils..
Enchant despair and invite them to dance on the rhythms of the night. Let the moon bless their gathering for there's still time for their darkened joy." ~
