@@Flintergaming yeah. I've heard that same exact sound from 5 feet away (of course there was a fence between us), from a male name Skanda. When he let that sound out, blood from what he was eating sprayed all over me and I could feel my bones vibrate in my body! Even after 6 years that's something you don't just forget
@@culliganman if it isn't I'll eat a sock. I mean sure Disney used Tiger roars for The Lion King (or at least the original, it was a mixture of Lion and Tiger for the remake), but I don't think EW would be dumb enough to use a tiger growl for a leopard
There is goose spicies called Bar-headed goose that lives around that part of the world

@@Flintergaming lol I hope it does...I'm so stoked for a potentially predator heavy map. Could be a lot more that wants to eat you then just Tiger. I've played Australia 1 time since buying it. This map will bring me back to playing cotw regularly.
If they're adding Tigers, they better add Elephants and Rhinos, since that line has already been crossed

I hope that they made this map more similar to dangerous hunts, where the tigers don’t make as much sound as they hunt you. That would add a thrill factor that the game lacks with all the apex predators it already has.
If we get a great one tiger, I’m gonna be so happy. If yall have ever played the game “The Black Tiger” I’m not gonna go into detail but obviously you play as a black or melanistic tiger. And in the end you’re much bigger than other tigers you’ve got lots of scars and you lose an eye. Something like that for a Great One would be incredible

There is another animal to the left of the Muntjac Deer in the tall grass between two distant trees in the Teaser Trailer, seen from 0:15 to 0:17 in this video. You can see the reddish fur. It might just be another Muntjac Deer feeding, or it could be a big cat stalking.

I think those might be bar headed goose they are very common in Nepal and look pretty similar to greylags with the orange beak and plumage color
I used to play the cabelas hunting game years ago where you can hunt polar bears, etc. So it's not crazy to have a game hunt endangered species.
I remember a mission in vurhonga where there was a poached rhino's body you could see.
I actually support exotic hunting such as lions and elephants but only i it's done legally because they're guided tours by a member of a local community and the money you pay to hunt the carefully selected animals goes back into their community. So I'm genuinely hoping that if Tigers are introduced in the this game, there'll be something like that to where there's missions for man eating tigers or something. I've enjoyed the realism, respect and attention to detail COTW had had and I'm hoping it keeps that momentum

The guys that I've talked to that hunted Africa (participated in culls on reserves, let's be honest here).. when an animal goes down the locals magically appear out of nowhere and the fallen animal magically disappears. They sure like it when the dinner bell rings.
Really hoping I can get my other two maps done on my channel before this releases. It would be awesome to make it the last of my "exploration phase" before settling in on the pure trophy phase of the series.
After this we need a new savanna map with rhinos and elephants. After that maybe north china or east russia for siberian tigers
You know what, if this is a Nepal/India style map then we could very well have snow leopards on the map alongside Tigers, though of course the teaser trailer was set in the jungle part of the map, which is where the tigers would be. I'm just making an observation.
Please let this be a jungle reserve! I’ve been praying for this game to have like an Asian based jungle reserve! Like imagine hunting a tiger that could also possibly be hunting you.

Im super hyped, its definitely been a longer than normal map release witch to be honest Im not a huge fan of, but I love getting new maps with new species, I hope it lives up to the hype they have made it, EC definitely did so I have faith, definitely missing 2 map releases a year.
Bar headed geese are the highest migrating goose species, they’re migration takes them over the Himalayas
I think it’s Asian Leopard personally but Tiger would be awesome so I hope I’m wrong.
The geese maybe look like Barhead Geese, good to confirm that the Muntjac on the Great One poll was a teaser. I’m looking to get some Axis, Blackbuck, Nilgai, Tahr, Dhole or Fox, Sambar, Water Buffalo, and maybe one or two other species

Based off sound my buddy and I think they are Taiga Bean Geese in the video. Fingers still crossed for Tahr and Blue Sheep

A few months back, I took a breather from tH:CotW after 1000+ hours and I still own 4 reserves I haven't even opened up yet (New England, Parque, Yukon and Te Awaroa). I've been thinking lately I should get back into it. This may just be my cue.
Same I took a break from call of the wild too I bought that other hunting game Way of the Hunter. I recommend giving that game a try they have different animals not in call of the wild like Badgers and Hyenas!
@@ryancentnarowicz that does sound cool and I've been very tempted to buy that, but I've been playing totally different things like Euro Truck Simulator 2 (which oddly gives some of the same vibes), No Man's Sky and some Assassins Creed games. I like to mix it up 😀
@@gvigary1 Yea same I actually started playing Zelda ocarina of time again on Nintendo switch online service haven’t played that game in years! Yea I recommend Way of the hunter it is a bit of a learning curve because it’s more realistic than call of the wild. But I put on the easiest difficulty and you will have a little easier time hunting animals. Once you get over the learning curve you will be golden. You can go on Transylvania to hunt too on Way of the Hunter and in your lodge on Transylvania there’s garlic and crosses vampire references which is cool.
Could be Egyptian geese not sure of their entire range, but they may be in that area.

That's a tiger roar. A lot of movies use tiger roars instead of lions because lions don't roar. Also a leopard has a lot of hissing when they roar also the volume of their roar isn't near as loud.

Id be honestly surprised they'd allow us to hunt tigers since you know some people would get upset (even tho its a video game but they dont care) But fingers crossed we get the Himalayas. Id love for them to add the Tahr
Those are probably Bar Headed Geese they migrate from their breeding ground in Central Asia (Mongolia) to South Asia (North India) to winter...as an irl waterfowl hunter it's a bucket list bird for sure up there with banded woodies and Sandhill crane

my prediction: muntjac, wild boar, musk deer, himalayan monal, black bear, bengal tiger and two of either blue sheep, himalayan tahr, goral or serow (and i'm not good with geese so I'll leave that out haha)
My guess: its either nepal or india. The roar was from a tiger. The tiger will be present and you can warch it (read as it will spook game and be annoying like wolves are) and it can be a threat that will attack you, but you can't kill it. OR it will be story related and eventually become a problem animal that you have to kill at the end. But that 1 tiger will be the only one on the map and once its dead, thats it. The former would suck, the latter would be pretty cool.
I am so excited for the new map. COTW needed this badly and it looks like they may hit it out of the park
Isn’t there a lot of Grey Goose species? We have Tundra Beans and Greylags, I assume there are more. Idk just an American who hasn’t looked deeper into it.

It's a common Leopard , like the cougar in SRPEAKS that you can hunt, if it's a Tiger, it will hunt you, you can't hunt Tigers...

Lol I was right after all. Yay! Lots of other things hunt in India. The potential for this map is epic. Take that Africa 2.0. They do this right this will be the best map ever. Potentially wolves, leopard, tiger, elephant, salt water croc, I believe a bear species as well as deer and birds ect.
Pretty sure that's a tiger calling. If so that's the only thing that could get me to buy this map.
What I would really like to see and hope that this is, is that the tigers hunting will actually result in the animals of other species being killed off. So the populations of other species will be in slow rotation even without the players interference. Also means that you could lose a diamond to a tiger.
Munjatac deer don't use their antlers to fight they use their vampire teeth like musk deer

@@Flintergaming In yesterday stream jay said that "Sundar patan" is might misleading, 😆 now pay attention to the word "Sundar Patan" in english means "beautiful fall" in Dhorpatan hunting reserve in nepal, there is a Beautiful "Water falls" and also Dhorpatan is beautiful in Autumn fall season,
So i guess that the new map has a similar weather system in Yukon valley where there will be a snow, since it was in himalayas. Search the Dhorpatan hunting reserve and the animal species there.
