- In this 20th video of My BGP series, you will learn what is bgp #route reflector cluster & configuration of Route relector in Hindi . It is a very useful concept for real-time network environment. #BGP is the favorite one of all recruiters in IT. I will try to make your concept clear in these bgp videos. Route Reflector is one of most ask-able question in Interview

Thanks Arun for cluster and originator ID explanation. This has been asked to me on an interview. Now the concept is clear to me.
🙏🙏🙏jai ho gurudev (har har Mahadev)....... Bahut badiya
Har har mahadev 🙏😀
Thank you sir
Excellent & detailed explanation.Sir keep up the amazing work. Before watching your video i was thinking that i know about Route Reflectors but after watching i got many new information.
thanks for your valuable feedback. It means a lot to me.
Very beautifully explained and knowledgeable series. Thanks sir.
Thanks for liking
Thank you so much sir ,your video are really interesting and easy to learn.in this lockdown period i learn a lot of things from your video.....
thanks dear😀
thank you Sir, Please discuss about ACL & NAT, PAT
Very very thanks sir
Most welcome
Hello Sir, Could you please share video on MP-BGP, MPLS- TE. You have committed many times on you old videos but still i am waiting for same. Your way of teaching is really unique and at same time clearing concepts very well. Please i will wait for your videos. Anticipating sooner action.
Sure I will work on it soon
Excellent explanation 👍
Glad you liked it
hello sir... please make the videos on ACL and prefix list..and NAT
Nicely explained 👌🏼
Glad you liked it
In a cluster with two RR, an update receive by client will be forwarded to RR1 and RR2. this update will be reflected back to all the remaining client in that cluster, in this way all the remaining clients will receive two updates. Do we have any mean by which we can create active/standby RR to reduce this duplication of updates.
Thanks a lot Arun Sir. Your videos have helped me a lot in understanding layer 3 concepts.
Could you please make videos related to L2circuit, Layer 2 VPN and other layer 2 concepts used by ISP to propagate between ISP's and from ISP to their enterprise clients ?
thanks for feedback dear, i will upload asap.
@@ITPRECEPTORS thanks in advance :-)
Dear Sir, I want to know the scenario in which RR is used for MPLS VPN and For internet Services like for simple IPV4, I want to use IPV4 BGP and MP-BGP peering of each PE with RR.
Dear Sir,I have some questions.
Do i need to connect between R1 (RR- server ) and R2 (RR-server) in intra cluster-1? If yes, then
for exchanging the route among clusters i have to connect R1(RR-server -cluster -1) to R7 (RR-server -cluster 2) and R7 (RR-server -cluster 2 ) to R11(RR server -cluster 3).
I have another question , for connecting the non client with different clusters will i connect R1(RR-server cluster 1) ,R2(RR-server cluster-1), R7 (RR server-cluster 2 ) and R11 (RR-server -cluster 3) with R6 (non client) router? I assume we have to.
Will be glad to have your feedback.
Sir it is requested to you kindly make some plan on OSPF Series because LSA's and many oher OSPF objects needs to explore under your DEEP Knowledge because after BGP OSPF is hot topic which is discussed in interview Thank you sooo much JAZAK ALLAH
As soon as possible i will
@@ITPRECEPTORS Thank you Soo much sir
Please make a video on ATOMIC_AGGREGATE vs AGGREGATOR. It seems similar and confusing to me.
Thanks for this, next stop Confederation please.
😀 sure. 👍
Sir please make video on bgp aggregator, bgp load balance and BGP black hole.
very soon
Hi Sir, at 8:55 you have mentioned that R3 will send an update to RR listing down its originator id in the update but actually originator id is added by the RR itself whenever it reflect a route to any of the client or non client. Let me know your opinion on this.
Yes Abhishek you are correct RR add the originator id (RID of first IBGP neighbor from which RR recieve update) in to the update .
what if the RR server gets doWN? How the updates will reach to other NETWORK
Sir After configuration RR all are working fine, but some routers like R6 not getting best path only showing valid. Same as some router getting one best and valid path but for other path getting only valid. Meanwhile RR (R1) has valid and best path for both.
sebd me the config files
Hi Sir,
Query- At 10:25, as you are saying if full-mesh is not formed. RR-Server to RR-Server, updates will not flow.
So how it will lead to loop, as you mentioned at 5:15.
because rr to rr server normal ibgp rule is applied thats why we need full mesh between multiple rr and to avoid loop in ibgp ( ibgp neighbor can not forward update to another ibgp neighbor if that update recieved from ibgp neighbor)
IT PRECEPTORS Agreed.
Then it should not form loop as well at 5:15.
Hi sir, what's the default ttl value of ibgp
ttl is 255 in IBGP and EBGP is TTL is 1
what happen when Two route reflectors in same cluster id ? example RR1 cluster id is 1.1.1.1 and RR2 cluster id also 1.1.1.1
Route will be advertised from RR1 to RR2 but from RR2 to RR1 , router will not be advertised. Assume that RR1 is sending the route advertisedment first.
Sir how to decide who will or who should make route reflector server router??
its depands on your physical topology dear. For rr you need partial mesh design then use your hub router as RR server.👍
@@ITPRECEPTORS Got it sir! Greatly appreciated......😇
Sir can u make a WhatsApp group and add all of us there so we all will be connected to eachother
besides whatsapp i will make community over youtube.
Very beautifully explained and knowledgeable series. Thanks sir.
