Love this! An idea for the summer bucket list - my friend does this with her family every year and it is really cool. She cuts a door sized piece of butcher paper and the family puts all their summer wish activities on the paper. Everything from go to Disneyland to go out for Fro-yo goes on the list. Books they want to read. playdates with friends, etc. Each item is written with big colorful markers. Since it is on display, they can look at it on those summer doldrum days and pick an activity. Like a vision board for the family.
Maybe "Family Life Planner" or "Home Planner" I definitely have my work/writing/life/home all stuffed into one planner. I like the idea of separating it out.
I love having a family/home " binder" its great and I love cleaning but sometimes it's hard. but I love just doing 1 room a day just tidy and wipe things down in 1 room a day and it doesn't need to be the same room every day every week. mix it up but I find that helps me and is way less stressful. and then on Sunday me and my family will do the touch points ( railing, stairs, counters in kitchen and bathrooms and we will all take 30 minutes together and blast some music and we take turns vacuuming and washing the floors sometimes its a show hahaha and it always makes us smile and no matter how hard the weeks been... its a nice way to destress together and I got this from someone else and even younger kids can be involved :) just 30 minutes of jamming and having fun cleaning together as a family :) its been great for us so maybe this helps someone else who's a little overwhelmed with house work and this can also be for outside too if need be. 😊
I just set up a similar notebook for my family last week, but I decided on a big Happy Planner / US letter size. Definitely needing the expander discs, haha. I call my notebook a "Family Binder," but since I've been getting into the FlyLady system lately, I'm now inclined to call it the "Control Journal." My sections are similar, though I also have an "Inbox" pocket insert at the front for mail and other documents that need to be processed; this, and ease of access to different inserts / printable templates is why I decided to go for a larger notebook, though I wish it could be smaller, since I often take it with me on errands or to work from coffee shops or the library. Also: for the budgeting section, I use The Budget Mom's Budget by Paycheck method workbook, which I highly recommend.
The We R Memory Keepers punch punches similar to the Happy Planner punch but can go through thick materials. It only punches 1 hole at a time but has a built in guide to keep punching evenly.

Congrats on 63k!!! I just set up my budget planner, and found a cheap Walmart planner to see how I like it, and if I can stick with it. It was fun to see how you set up your binder. Have a safe and fun trip to San Diego!

I'm a big fan of the debt snowball method. We used it starting in 2021 to pay off all debt except mortgage which we're working on now and it's easy to follow and I feel like as it gets going you can really see the benefits. Beautiful planner setup like always! ♥
Fly Lady has a similar thing, she calls it Home Control Binder or Home Management Binder I think. You might possibly be able to find printables that others have created for that system that might fill the spots you’re still working on.
I love this idea, and started a frankenplanner last month that includes tabs for my basic goals and general plans, basic writing tab with my monthly writing goals, exercise monthly goal, cleaning checklist, meal planner, and gratitude journals. Some tabs I haven’t used so with the flexibility of a happy planner, Ian change things around if I’m not using them. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m thinking of adding some pages for decluttering progress since that’s an ongoing thing in my house😂
I call ours our HUB planner. Because it’s the hub of the household and has all the info anyone in the house would need if I was traveling or sick etc. and to have a centralized place for things that don’t need to be in my catchall/personal planner because I don’t want to migrate it so much and also so everyone can get to it and benefit. I used mostly freebies which was great.
Ugh, I need to get a lot better about caring for my PCOS. I just moved into a half letter planner. Though as a single, child-free woman, I only have three sections: monthly/weekly planner, notes/lists, and budget.
Creative tidbits on Etsy has great inserts. She has some vehicle maintenance inserts that are great. I feel like she takes my brain and puts it on the page so beautifully and functionally. I also love her thanksgiving and Christmas planner.

I have digital dash and got it for the type dashboards you have, that I seen from other planners but ehhh I’ve not been happy so I will end up letting it go. I wish I had gotten in when it was really good. Love love your style. Thank you for sharing.
one of the EC perpetual calendars would be go to write in 'car registration' - those once a year things - and then you can make when in the month you actually did it. It would also help with budgeting so you can see what months might be 'heavy' on must-do things every year.

How about a two page spread with a list format down the left, and twelve columns for months across to the right, and then you can just put a check in the box for " the last time we blahblahblah"....(oil change, eye doc, etc) ?
I have gotten a lot of good ideas from "The Organized Money" on CZcams she changes up her systems to what works for her life in a similar way as you that you might find helpful. I have yet to make one for myself though lol Good Luck! 😀
Yes! I was going to suggest The Organized Money because she has a simple system for tracking family appointments- one page divided into quadrants for each family member. Then she just lists the date and type of appointment as they get scheduled (ie: Dentist - cleaning; Doctor - Well Visit, etc.) so it’s easy to see when the last appointment was per person as well as setting the next one. Your quad section pages would work great for that. Always love your videos 💞
Planner Kate has a tracker for a 7x9 or a5 that has a year of trackers, you can use it as a when was the last time i… i have it in my life planner. I use it to track my oil changes, dye hair, cut hair, vacuum car, perm hair, change loofa, change toothbrush, change wiper blades. I also use these for my monthly bills, and my monthly chores. The other one is Tesia from sweet kawaii design has a when was the last time i jumbo sticker that you can write the things in and then just check off and write the dates in….hope this helps

I don't know from Dave Ramsey but David Bach talks about it in Smart Women Finish Rich and it worked very well for me!

In my situation I keep a separate planner section for each of my little ones. I track their dr visits, their appt histories, gift lists, etc. 😊
