It’s kind of ironic that out of all the leading young actors in this film the one that made it the furthest (career wise) is one that had one of the smallest roles in the film

When I saw this movie back in 2000, who would've known 5 years later he would be one of the most successful actor of our time, and 17 years later he still is. :)
oh my god. i loved watching ryan gosling in this movie. it was amazing. He played part of the defense and was shit at it. He didnt sack anyone or help his team out at ALL. But he makes this movie 10 times better with his dance moves
Madilyn Ager Lol it’s awesome. My nickname from high school football was Bosley because I was like Gosling in the movie, I was skinny and unathletic and barely played at all but I was always having fun and boosting team spirit
An actor who followed the career over the money. People rave on about his looks, but the thing that defines him is his passion. He's turned down countless roles that would've made him millions. Not that he isn't making millions now, but comparing the salaries for films he's done versus films he's turned down would have to be pretty significant. I was so surprised when he joined Bladerunner 2049. I realised this is like the second big studio film he's done in his career.
The only kids with real speaking parts in the film who were actual teenagers were Ryan Gosling and Cate Bosworth. This clip is from the movie, but in the movie it is the boys singing and not the girls who actually recorded the movie. The part where Ryan Gosling is dancing he is also singing.

Wood Harris had a pretty good future acting career
Yeah but compared to Gosling. The only actor in this movie that is on his level is Denziel Washington.
