- Here is the ALL the Unique desertion and desertion warning quotes the game has to offer. Includes all the recruitable characters of all classes. And my god is it hard to collect these. These quotes only play out when units fall between a certain doyalty threshold depending their Alignment.
Problem for getting these is that in this game getting Loyalty is super easy. On the other Hand lowering a units loyalty is very time consuming.
Certain story choices lower all the party members loyalties. Worlding back and getting these over and over is the only decent way of getting these qutoes. Loyalty stat can be tracked by pressing select/Hold right click then hovering over units name. Its a number between 0-100. Game never tells you the precise number though. Stats needed are as follows:
Lawful Units: 0 - 5 Loyalty = Waning -- 0 Loyalty = Desertion
Netural Units: 5 - 10 Loyalty = Waning -- 0 - 5 Loyalty = Desertion
Chaotic Units: 10 - 15 Loyalty = Waning -- 5 - 10 Loyalty = Desertion
Repeatedly knocking out your units is the only gameplay way to lower loyalty of a unit. Other method is certain story choices lower certain alignment units partywide as said before. Repeatedly getting these choices by time travelling is the only sane way to get them. These range from dueling or not with Leonar to Sacking heim or not.
Also big surprise is that the Semi generics such as Sara and Voltare are all voiced. I really like that.

Since this is such a hidden mechanic I'll try to explain how it works here. Units have a stat called Loyalty. You can kind of get an idea how loyal they are by hovering above their names. When this loyalty stat is low enough they straight up desert your party permanently as seen here. Now lowering loyalty is a VERY time consuming task. While increasing it is super easy (Especially in reborn). Everyone playing this game gets max 100 loyalty on their units thanks to weapon skill level ups (+10 per level). Triggers for warnings and desertions are as follows;
Lawful Units: 0 - 5 Loyalty = Warning -- 0 Loyalty = Desertion
Netural Units: 5 - 10 Loyalty = Warning -- 0 - 5 Loyalty = Desertion
Chaotic Units: 10 - 15 Loyalty = Warning -- 5 - 10 Loyalty = Desertion
Repeatedly knocking out your units is the only gameplay way to lower loyalty of a unit. Other method is certain story choices lower certain alignment units partywide. Repeatedly getting these choices by time travelling is the only sane way to get them.
Also big surprise is that the Semi generics such as Sara and Voltare are all voiced. I really like that.
I love that they voiced this, what a fun detail. Never friggin happens, but still fun!
I love these and the fact they are voiced even the semi generics.
Also the fact that Sara is so disgusted with you that he preferres the man who genocides his own people and blames it on her, to continue being around Denam really elevates it for me. Also lanselot leaving you after denam bending space and time conundrum to save him is just mind blowing.
meanwhile im over here laughing at the fact that you had Hobyrim as a fusilier 🤣🤣
Making the blind man use gun never gets old. He is a better shot than barbas at any rate.
Nice collection! 😄although is just 9 minutes video but more than a 9 hours gameplay, a very time consuming job, I give a full watched
This is fun to watch. Rudlum being philosophical. Myrdin, a man of few words. And so on.
Thank you for making these series.
Thank you for recording all of those.
I wouldn't have the courage to do even one so thanks you very much for the deed since I was curious of the line some of my favourite character
You're welcome, I appreciate it. It was curiosity that drew me to compile all this as well.
Fusilier Hobyrim, I see what you did there!
Wow these are... wow. Canopus leaving you hurts my soul a lot. The only one I got to leave was Arycelle and Hobyrim, and that was due to pure accident.
i subbed since i didnt know that dievold was recruitable i thnak you for that info
It's painful to hear some of these. Hard to get to the end.
I always hear arycelle's voice like old woman.
Stephanie sheh is a really talented voice actor too. Its a shame her performance isn't that good in this game.
@@Burak_CI think it's a tribute to all Tharja's fans, a popular character from the Fire emblem series. She gave Arycelle the exact same voice than this character. The reason ? :
In fire emblem Tharja is stalking the main character out of love to him. She also as a vengeful side to her.
In tactics ogre Arycelle is stalking the main character out of hate to him. She also has a vengeful side to her.
Steph also voices In reborn ... Moldova ? (Cressida's sister I think or is it Cassandra ?) the same way and she is a dark mage. Tharja is also a dark mage In the fire emblem series.
I really think it's deliberately voiced that way out of the ressemblance of these characters with Tharja. It's a tribute, at least that's my theory.
Thats amazing! And sad
Yes and mysterious as well. I still have no idea what Felicia is trying to say at 3:31. Does she actually know Denam's Family? Does Denam even have a stepfather? We will never learn I guess.
@@Burak_C Denam's father is well known within the Philaha order, both for being someone very kind and helpful, as well as for his connection to Mreuva (the highest office in the order at that time) and being the brother of Brantym. Perhaps when they fled to Golyat and decided to adopt the surname Pavel to hide, they too made up a story that Prancet was Denam's stepfather? I think it makes sense, considering all the need for cover-up.
@@Burak_C It's known that Catiua was adopted by Prancet, since she overheard him talking about it with someone else which led to her assuming Denam was also adopted. Felicia and other members of the order of Philaha probably assumed the same that Catiua did.
Funny because it's a feature that is almost useless. Still wonderful to have voices even for generic uniques.
If it weren't for Arycelle in Netural Route even I wouldn't know of it. Matsuno sure loves his obscure little mechanics.
@@Burak_C yeah, it's the only time it can happen story wise. That's why this game is so wonderful imo! 😁
I've been using the Japanese voices ever since hearing a few "out of character" English voices. Did not expect …that... for Arycelle's english voice at all. Always expected a more mature one.
Got Vyce and Catuia low loyalty and desertion warning lines?
They do not. Catiua and Vyce never desert or leave you. They cannot be dismissed as well. Their loyalty stat does not matter in the least. In fact on Law route recruiting Vyce is mandatory, you cannot skip him. Only way to even get rid of them is letting them die by getting them KO'd and waiting 3 turns on battlefield. Or throwing them off a pit.
@@Burak_C Huh. That's interesting considering you can get Vyce at least to leave you in SNES/PS1/Saturn via loyalty drop. The easiest way is abusing a bug (Recruit a unit, then delete them while they are still a Guest mid stage either via Banish if it's a ghost, or the Nova (In the PS1 localization. JP calls it Supernova) spell and bam instant 0 Loyalty for a bunch of characters you aren't using in the current battle.)
so what about warren report profile after they left the party
I think a small line of text mentioning they left the order gets added to their people page. No completion percentage increase.
I was hoping to see Catiua and Vice... will they not desert even if their loyalty falls to 0?
Indeed. Catiua and Vyce can never desert or leave you.
@@Burak_C bummer. Thx for tge info tho
Como se puede evitar que deserten
Rank up any weapon skill. It gives a big loyalty boost per level.
You forgot Catiua
Her and Vyce dont have any. They can't desert or be dismissed. Only way to even get rid of em is to kill them in battle.
@@Burak_C Swap her to dark priest at the end of chapter 4 and let her die multiple times. I took her to palace of the dead where she lost all her loyalty while being controlled by the AI.
@@consis I believe loyalty doesn't matter for these two. Even if it is 0, they simply do not desert or give a warning. Or so my testing goes.
