- I used the MDL hydraulic clutch and linkage kit on my Falcon. It didnt directly bolt up because of previous modifications that I had done, but I managed to make it work. I'm very please with the outcome!

Thanks for taking the time to document your work, I am just starting this project on my 65 Ranchero
Thank you. I’ve taken a bit of a break. I get so much more done when I’m not trying to document it all. The falcon is running now. Should have a driving video on it soon.
This is great man! Got a kick out of the blue tape. I instantly asked myself, who's going to hold that for ya. ha! Looking awesome and I'll need to consider this for my '67 Stang I'm working on.
Haha yeah man you gotta do what you gotta do when you work alone!
Nice choice on that kit. I have the same master. I needed a ton of torque on those the plugs in the master on the passenger side. Mine were fine and then started to weep subtly after months of use. I noticed wetness on the bottom of the master as my pedal started get mushy. Don't suffer fools (me). Nice work on this mod.
Thank you!
put one in my 64 comet... 3 yrs in , no complaints.
Excellent! Hoping I have the same luck.
Installed the same kit on my 64... I had the problem of it running in the way of my proportioning valve. Gonna have to dissect your setup a little better and re think it... it was very frustrating for me ha
Let me know if you want any measurements. Not sure how different the firewall is between the round and square body.
Very nice work & video. I'm working through a similar issue looking for space for my clutch master cylinder. I'm using a Gen 2 iBooster and electric power steering. Both take up precious room on the firewall.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I want to do electric PS on a future build.
Great video, how’s does the brake pedal feel with that wilwood master cylinder. Trying to side if if I need power breaks or not.
Feels good! The correct sized master to caliper is the key.
@@rdspeedfab thanks!
I think when I change my front brakes I will get a complete kit from wilwood that comes with the master cyc.
How much was the complete clutch setup? Also how much was the brake master setup with proportioning valve?
I honestly don’t recall what I have in it all.
Do you need to buy a hydraulic throw out bearing or can you leave the clutch fork??
Yes or a standard slave type.
Just saw this, Q. Are using a T-5 Trans, & if you did how much cutting of the floor boards. I am thinking of T-5 in a 63 Merc. Comet RAG TOP W/6 INLINE 200 C.I. THANK YOU FOR ANY INFO. LOU.M.
Yes I’m running a t5. I had to cut the factory crossmember brace (the one that follows up the tunnel) and open the floor a bit for the shifter to come through. But didn’t have to make the tunnel itself, any larger.
@@rdspeedfab Thanks for getting back to me.
@@l.munnier9658 no problem at all. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
@@rdspeedfab did you a MDL kit for your T5 install?
Can you supply a link for the kit you bought?
Yes, give me a bit to look it up.
