I was very surprised at how little RGB was on the Ally.
Asus and their ROG line of products normally over do it with RGB.
I think it's a limitation of the battery. More lights equal less game time. This must be the obstacle, otherwise Asus would put a Disco in your hands 😊

If Asus wants to keep dominating in this market they should make the Rog Ally 2 with bigger battery, add a second usb-c port that is usb4 so people have an option to use 3rd party egpu or if they have the money and want better performance to buy an xg mobile but not feel forced to buy something proprietary... High refresh rate Oled screen, hall effect joysticks and trigger and just steal the RBG buttons from the MSI claw since they already Stole the Ally design they wont have any legal ground to stand on. That would be the best handheld to date 👍

in AAA you can reach about 1h20minutes at 18W TDP, and with a battery bank triple that, but yes, battery life is still too short, they need to put a bigger battery in the next Ally revision
Will pick one up when there is a Ally with a bigger battery and OLED display without the thick bezels around the display.
OLED is not needed and is not that special. The screen they have now is perfect.
They have to choose between VRR or OLED and VRR is much more important
@@zanebrown1728 why would they need to choose? OLED is just working fine with VRR, look at the Zephyrus G14/G16 both OLED and G-Sync VRR.
@@Digikidthevoiceofreason I have had every panel type you can think off, and OLED is the only panel that makes inky deep black, and contrast and color way more popping. IPS got horrible backlight bleeding, VA ghosting and shit viewing angels.

доделайте настройки схемы управления, сколько можно!? настроить кнопку- это такой огромный геморрой.
10 месяцев никто не может настроить панель выбора виртуального устройства , дайте возможность менять местами шыфты и курки, сделайте функцию использования удержания кнопки для вторичной функции.
2- дайте нормально управлять частотой ЦП через левый софтбар, или доделайте биос(хотя бы) там уже сами подкрутим.
3- дайте возможность ограничения TDP вплотную до 4вт.
Ally 2-32gb ddr5-7200 без этого ваша консоль -никому не нужный мусор.
Ally-2 лично мои пожелания, ничего кардинально не менять.
1- 2тип-с один с USB 5.0 (в задницу коротыш xgmobile) а второй тип-с любой но сквозной и зарядкой pd3.0 для работы с большими внешними дисками/шлемами вр без кучи проводов/переходников/док-станций + 1тип А.
Сделайте отсек (теплоизолированый отсек) под ссд формата 2280 (вы знаете о чём я😉).
Сд карты... мне лично не важно, многие смеются... ну не серьезно.
РАМКИ экрана- УБЕРИТЕ ЭТО УБОЖЕСТВО! Не нужно менять частоту или разрешение экрана, всё нормально! Добавте HDR.
Ну в принципе, всё. Было бы неплохо зади (там где лепески) получить парочку тачпадов (хотябы в виде аксесуара).
Подумайте над крестовиной, она не выдержала 4ю клетку боса в dead cells начала залипать, да и вообще выглядит и ощущается как что-то недоделаное.
Если получится (хотя сомневаюсь что на это пойдет АМД) убрать 2 ядра ЦПУ, понизить вольтаж в среднем на 0,1V(ну да тот самый андерволтинг) добавить 4видео ядра для компенсации потери производительности.
ЦПУ слишком мощный в 99,9...9% случаев упор в графику, цп пожирает кучу энерги, какой гений придумал что райзен в консоли на 4,7GHz это хорошая идея ? Увольте его. Последних 4 потока только вредят, в некоторых проектах они работают нормально, а иногда(практически всегда) 4% нагрузки, да держать включенными 2 ядра чтобы те ничего не делали 👏👏👏 дайте в биосе возможность выключать ядра плиз.
Понравилось: звук- снимаю шляпу. Если кому-то из "гениальных" инженеров прийдёт "гениальная" мысль как-то "улучшить" звук- не стесняйте, просто пристрелите его на месте(😅шутка... или нет🤔)... Ctrl+c +Ctrl+v готово.

Совместимость:+. На удивление ничто и некогда не жаловалось на оборудование, никогда не пропадал звук, кнопки работали корректно, никаких экранов смерти, черных экранов. Я иногда забываю что это устройство на наутбучном железе с вин 11... ну разве что 257задач висит в трей.
В принципе первый 🥐 получился не так уж плох, за исключением крайне идиотских решений, исправьте и будет топ.
