I agree with Dr. Vlach's interpretation of "this generation." The partial preterist is inconsistent in not also taking the "immediately" of Matt 24:29-31 in the same way he takes "this generation."
@32:04, so sad to hear that Dr. Vlach uses Luke 19 as a Bema passage for the Body of Christ. He says that the Bema for Christians does not involve salvation (I agree) but then he uses Luke 19, which is a salvation passage. Luke 19 is for Jewish Trib survivors, not the Church. In Luke 19, one is either rewarded or _slain_ (v. 27)! Rather, the Bema for Christians is in 1 Cor 3:10-15 and 2 Cor 5:10. Luke 19 judgment is on earth at the Second Coming to earth; the Bema for Christians is in heaven immediately following the pre-Trib rapture.
