I love it and I love the costumes! Sadly I will not be seeing it anytime soon. I absolutely adore the environmental reason for that pier but will not happen for me. I am physically fit and capable of walking that distance, I walk my dog three miles a day. However, I do have a medical condition that can cause me to have quick onset dizzy spells, increased heart rate bleh bleh bleh - the thing is both heat and anxiety make it more likely. Looking at that long empty pier immediately gives me anxiety lol. Most of the time I just need to sit down for a minute, drink my water, take my medication if it is bad - all I need is a bench with some shade every so often. I don’t want to take a seat in a golf cart from someone who needs it more - I don’t use DAS at the parks. Seriously they couldn’t have given us some benches and maybe a cast member tent halfway through in case someone does need help. Sorry for the rant - I didn’t realize I was that bothered by it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey Kat, I would say the golf carts would be appropriate for you. You shouldn't feel that someone else needs it more than you. They have plenty of them, so use them if you need it. That's what they are for. I use it because of my back. But I used only on the way back. Rob. Thanks for watching.
Kat you can always let them know ahead of time about all you health conditions and they will handle the best way possible to make you able to enjoy the island! They will for sure provide transportation for you to cross the pier, and they have medical team and first aid in Lookout Cay as well!
