I had deer walk out from right behind the truck in the past, almost hit their shin bone on the hitch... and they also walk out right in front of me from the woods looking at the truck and camper. They don't care. Have done it for years.
Yeah, not happy about missing 2 and wounding 1 deer. I did order a different scope, since the one I was using was a cheap $150 one and i had a hard time with it all season.
@@TheMucutz cool! Didn't know you could park a camper on it. Can you leave it there all year or have to pull it out after gun season? Thanks for the reply!
@@midlifemike4916 in Minnesota you can do it for 14 days in the summer and 21 days in the fall/winter, so i try to put it out before season, and usually pull it out right after.
@Mike-ec5de the hunting was very bad this year. First year I didn't get a deer. I hunt private for deer. I'll never go public again. Have fun out there lol
Yes, on the powerlines i do. Behind the cabin and at the house i walked out. I have done it for many years, and it doesn't seem to bother the deer. They walk out from right behind the truck, and cross toward the truck and camper all the time.
This guy isn’t doing anything different than half the mid west righteous now hunters that feed the deer all year long and name them. Then they shoot them at 10 yards from there 10,000 dollar blind.
So you shot 1 deer, then because you can't stop hunting you went crippled another deer that you give up tracking, WHY! You never give up. Then all you do is pass up small deer. YOU sir are not a hunter you are a shooter, and have no clue what hunting is. Thank you for wasting a deer to the wolves.
The deer i wounded went on to a private property, and after I talked to the owner they jumped it and shot it, and a hunter from their party took it since he didn't see anything and was heading out for the year It is part of the video. I do not shoot fawns or yearlings... I don't see anything wrong with that.
I hunted there 2 yrs ago. About same place, 9 wolves went by my stand, haven't been back.
I hear the wolves have been doing a number on the MN deer population!
Good stuff
Nice work!
We use to bow hunt wirt mn 25 years ago and after a snow you would see wolf tracks all over the place.
If you want a great scope, check out Vortex Strike Eagle 1x8. It's like a red dot with high power capabilities. Best of both worlds.
Help me understand why you would not conceal your truck and walk into the blind. Where I hunt that truck would keep all deer out of the field.

Get a Leupold 3.5 x14 with a 30mm tube and 50mm objective lens
Funny you say that...it just arrived yesterday 😀 also has the illuminated fire dot.
At least you had snow for a few. Here in Md it left two days ago. Now its back to honey-do-list.
Cripple King...

Looks like fun. Is that area under the power lines open to public?
The powerline is going through state forest in that area, so it is public land.

The last thing Minnesota needs is more campers parked on public land. Actually, less hunters period would be nice.

You shot a doe with fawns......really dude
That's a shit move
Why do you park your truck next to your blind? Its not very stealthy.
Hunting an open field like that is doe and fawn shooting only! Never get a big buck like that
Drives truck to stand?

I live in bemidji, where was this shot.
Warroad area.
Great video!!! Check out the video of my son and I deer hunting!
That's not hunting
That's half ass lazy wanna be hunters..... drives up to stand or sits at camp and shoots out the window
Not much of a Challenge u have to have a out door deer stand
If you like the extra challenge, yes. I take my Autistic daughter with me at times, and other little kids, so my set up is geared that way.
Sight in rifle
U parked a red truck by your stand wtf man good lord
U should not park ur red by ur blind, use atv
U call that hunting?
Works for me...😃
Easy chief... everyone hunts differently
That's how we do it ...we have harsh temps up north

Bow hunters that should say
Well do not park in front of your blind
Pee out the entrance door of your shack

This is what happens when the father dies and the freeloaders get his stuff
Obviously, you don't know me and my situation. Thank you for the comment.
