Hi Joni. Yes when I was a new Christian 38 years ago. I thought Jesus would have been here by now. I use to listen to you on Joni & friends a lot back then on a local christian radio station. Now I have found you online. 💕 It is hard to keep the faith at times. I always have to ask for a refill of gods Grace when it seem it's sufficiency is running low. Help all of your people Lord to keep the faith and to be ready when our Lord comes. In Jesus name

You are an amazing, Godly woman who gives us light and hope.
I, too, am over 60, disabled, missing 7 toes and 6 feet of my intestines (intussusception, aka malnourished), have several vertabrae crumbling from the inside out (osteomyelitis), live up 32 stairs, 3rd floor, no elevator, and have my own personal psycho stalker who picks the locks (first re-key $130, 2nd re-key a Digital Deadbolt @ $250, 3rd re-key a Commercial-Grade deadbolt $389), and he still gets in, steals things, moves things around, on SSDI, and he runs a meth lab in the apartment below me, have a son who is on Active Duty, 2 parents in their early 80s, a brother who suffered severe closed head injury on his second Military Tour, a younger brother who has over 165 criminal convictions (not arrests)... Talk about stress?

Hello Joni, This message comes with a sense of urgency. The Parable of the Ten virgins, 1/2 didn't have oil , when the bridegroom came back he close the door and they were left outside. I hope I am not one of them. Thank you for this message. I need to be constantly looking for Jesus return and here it from anyone that is willing to tell it. Including me. I appreciate your message very much, thank you for these encouraging words. I fully agree with you, it's high time to wake out of slumber and especially have eyes and ears and mind wide open to the present signs of the times. The events in world's history are like a huge big "puzzle" put together throughout the course of time and when we just "step back" a little bit we can see this picture of the puzzle become more and more complete. And the closer we look the more we realize and become aware of the fact that the world's "clock" is already not anymore 5 to 12, but 2 to 12 and soon it's going to "ring it's bells" for 12! And when this "clock" is going to strike 12, then it's time for Jesus to return to earth and set and end to all the evil things that are happening on this planet and Christ will take His faithful followers home. The world events are heading towards the finishing line and woe and pitty for those who don't (want) to realize it! High time to wake up! Read the signs of the times, as Jesus adminonishes us in His word and see where all these events on earth are leading to!

Through the years Joni, my heart has been so confused concerning the Lord's return. I know He is coming, no doubt! It is just whether we are looking for his return before the tribulation. My heart wants to be settled so I can teach my children and of course for my own peace of mind. Is Christ's return immenent? Teachers that I love say it can happen at any time. Then another teacher I love says that pre-trib folk are very deceived and we will go through the tribulation. My pastor rarely speaks on end times. I am studying myself and seeking the Lord. I was so excited recently to gain my confidence that he would come back before the tribulation, but then someone showed me a lot of quotes from our early church father's that seemed to make me doubt again. Even my church family is filled with differing opinions. After struggling with this all week, I saw this and just had to comment. There are a lot of people like me out there. Eschatology has been muddled among the saints, and it makes me a bit sad. Thank you for your video. Maybe the Lord will soon lead me through these muddled waters 🌞

Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.
If we want forgiveness. If we want to go to heaven we must understand the following. We DO NOT get saved (go to heaven), get right with God, forgiven, by being good, by being religious, by praying a prayer, being baptized, asking Jesus into our hearts, accepting Jesus as our personal Saviour, confessing our sins, joining a church, cleaning up our lives, doing penance, taking the bread and the wine, or doing all these thing accumulative.
Salvation takes repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21. Make no mistake. We cannot be a friend of Christ and remain a rebel against God. The word repent, from the Greek word “metanoia”, means a change of mind or direction. That change is not 50%, 75%, or 99%. It is 100% or we are not repenting.
God is not receiving those who almost or kind of repent. It is like the word about face which is a 180 degree turn. We turn from not wanting God fully in our lives to accepting Him fully in our lives.
When any person comes to the place where they are broken over their sin to the point they want to get right with God no matter what it will cost them they are in a state/spirit of repentance toward God.
We then take that heart we have towards God and place it on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Master and that becomes faith. At that moment God’s grace through Christ is applied to us and we are born again, saved from eternal hell and sealed by the Spirit so that we will never again return to the practice of sinning. 1John 3:9,10.
Our first command after salvation is to be baptized.
Repentance of sin is the result of the new birth/salvation and will be part of the sanctification process and our new life with the Lord Jesus Christ, Eph 2:10. While we may sin from time to time after salvation it will not be our practice 1John 3:9,10.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
REV. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
I hate to disappoint you, but Jesus will never return. As he wasn't born of a "virgin", didn't perform any miracles and didn't rise from the dead, there's no question about it, 100% certain.
