MC Ren wrote his own shit and just like Cube and The D.O.C. he also wrote for Eazy and Dre. In one of his interviews Ren said that Dre wrote Eazy-er Said Than Dunn.

Shame Yella ain't releasing the diss Eazy did at Cube after No Vaseline. It would've sick to hear No Vaseline then Eazy's diss. Eazy wrote many of his songs. Just for a few years though. Like maybe 3 or 4 years.

  • @christianhaley4816
    @christianhaley4816 Před 5 lety +78

Yes, they were all in NWA. Cube felt he was entitled to more money because he was the song writer, but EZ was the face of the group and got the most money. Cube felt severely underpaid so he went his own way especially when his Compton homies decided to be more... 'white'. I believe the remaining group of NWA dissed first, and I believe No Vasiline was a retaliatory diss.
EZ wasn't gay, but he did die of AIDS.

And Ice Cube left because he wasn't getting paid and didn't wan't sign that contract because Jerry Heller was stealing money with it and Cube didn't wan't to diss them but when they dissed Cube, he got mad at them cause he thought they were cool

Well Eazy was not the face he was the voice they needed, plus since they were describing Eazys' life anyway why not make him the man cause other groups they were auditioning to be NWA wasn't working out, so they all became NWA. And Cube didn't want to join at first cause he was already in a rap group. Also E had the money to start the company he was the owner first thing, secondly, Heller was the producer, he watched over everything like the royalties and expenses, Ice Cube did want to sign after he had his contract looked over but Heller told him he didn't need a lawyer, since that didn't sit well with Cube so he left, none of them hadn't been paid nothing until Heller drew up them contracts, and then after they dissed Cube is when he made the comeback on them.

Correction: Eazy E was the owner of Ruthless Records which is why he was getting compensated the most. Him and Jerry Heller who was their manager and lawyer. Cube and Dre left and ended up doing the same thing to their own artists later as related to owning their publishing, etc.

NWA members MC Ren, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube & Eazy E. Now Ice Cube did write most of the rap lyrics, yes Eazy E. died of aids, but there were some rumors out there saying that somebody shot him with an aids needle and that's how he got aids but he did die of aids. Now after Cube left I believe they had some moderate success, but nothing like they were with Cube. But then later on Dr. Dre found out what Ice Cube was saying was the truth and he eventually left the group also, so the manager Jerry Heller the white man in a suit the Jew was stealing money from the group. Now I don't know if he was breaking Eazy E. off some of the money he was stealing from the group, but Jerry Heller was robbing NWA without a gun.

TBC in this song a lyric is about the manager of NWA 'Eazy you let a Jew break up my Crew; and yes NWA was founded with Eazy E Cocaine Money and all songs wrote by Ice Cube the only 2 real gang members in it, Ice Cube was from South Central LA not Compton City like eazy. Yes Eazy died of aids and all his partners tested negative, that stank worse than the old fish at the market. Suge Knight later exposed how the Jew Ice Cube speaks off had Eazy killed, he just had a flue like 2 weeks before he died and only then found out about AIDS, Suge said to Arsenio 'you do not need guns anymore, you get a pen or anything drop it in AIDS blood and spit it in to someone and they dead with no wanted people, like that Eazy E shit'

The NWA movie will give you this story mainly from Dre and Cubes perspective. I thought they could have done better by Eazy E though. They added Dre Day but not Real MF Gs and made it seem like he fell off financially towardsthe end of his life when in reality he was still running his label and signed Bone Thugs. Eazy wasn't gay. He slept with tons of women and probably didn't always protect himself. His death is suspect because he died way too quickly and suddenly to his 1st diagnosis. Many think Suge or someone else poisoned him somehow. Suge said this on an interview with Jimmy Kimmel czcams.com/video/jiBXJR94hdA/video.html

Eazy-E died of aids because he had a lot of unprotected sex. He had a lot of kids with different women. That was one of his vices, women.
Ice cube left nwa because he believed the whole group was being robbed by Jerry Heller, the white guy being mentioned in the song. He was angry at Eazy-E for not seeing through it and believed Eazy-E was acting at his puppet.
From Eazy-E and the NWA's perspective, they were an unknown group that became an instant hit. With the album "straight outta Compton", they were the biggest thing in rap music. For ice cube to leave the group immediately and start his own record company scared them. They felt that him leaving would weaken the group and they felt threatened he started a record label that could compete with them.
Ice cube believed they were worth more and didn't need jerry Heller.
Eazy-E and the nwa at the time believed that yeah they didn't make as much money in the album straight outta Compton, but that did open a lot of doors for them and ice cube leaving immediately closed them all up.

He started his own record label Da Lenchmob and dropped an album It did pretty good then NWA dropped they next album NI**AZ4LIFE and they dissed Ice Cube all over that album..the intro to this song is taken from the into from that album NI**AZ4LIFE blew up it was the hottest rap album at that time(1990) then Cube dropped No Vaseline it was the biggest dis of that time NWA was big for the next few years until Dre left the group NWA fell apart but Ruthless Records was still bigg they had groups like Above The Law Kokane HWA Bone Thuggz N Harmony Stephon there were others that escape my mind rite now(none mentioned in the movie) alot of people dont kno that Eazy was in the middle of signing Brownside when he died that would have been huge with the relationship between black n brown at that time Eazy asked Brownside to do a remix of Boys N The Hood mexican style Vatos in tha Varrio(look it up) (also not in the movie) but all that is later on right before he died step back a few years when Dre left the group Dre signed on with Def Row with Suge Knight when Dre left Ruthless he took The DOC with him it was rumored that Snoop was susposto be part of Ruthless aswell not a hundo on that tho but Def Row signed The Lady of Rage Snoop Dogg The Dogg Pound Warren G Nate Dogg I dont rember who else but No Vaseline was know as the hardest battle rap song of it's time (also Bow Down also from Ice Cube and Westside Connection) but i think the best battles were between DefRow and Ruthless(example DreDay vs Real Muthaphuckin Gz)(look that up) also Kokane did a song with Above the Law called Dont Bite the Funk i think it's the best song of that entire battle that's debatable Tha Dogg Pound put out some bangers but there was a HUGE beef between DefRow and Ruthless that wasnt mentioned in the movie also theres more history involved like around 95 there was that huge beef between WestCoast and EastCoast and famous underground rappers Ice Cube Mack10 and WC from WC and tha Madd Circle all colabrated and came out with The Westside Connection and that wat around the time DefRow signed 2Pac and then the rap battles between Pac an Bigg there was alot of disrespect coming from EastCoast rappers towards the WestCoast and The SouthCoast (lookup WillieD quit hattin tha south...tha same WillieD that Cube mentions in this song btw..'WillieD told me to let a hoe b a hoe so'..) theres alot to know about all this stuff I was a youngsta bacc then I kept up on all the albums and read all the articles in the rap magazines I kno alot about Gangsta Rap Music and I kept up on alot of rap battles over the years my favorites were between The Game and Yukmouth and theres alot of history between all that too n e ways...

NWA original members: Dre, Cube, Eazy, Ren, Yella. Cube was the first to go. As you can tell from the song, he had some issues with how the group was being managed. Lol.

@gotove I don't know if he was stealing it or not, but apparently nobody was too happy with what they were getting... except Jerry. Lol.

skbwolverine MC Ren wasn’t an original member of NWA. It was eazy-e, dr Dre, ice cube, Arabian prince and dj yella. Ice cube was the main writer, but left to Arizona for school. Then they got MC Ren to replace cube as their new writer. After a year, cube came back and that’s When Arabian prince left the group and officially put Ren as a member, rather than just a writer.

Eazy died of AIDS but it had nothing to do with being gay, as far as I am concerned. Eazy could hit anything he wanted, and probably did. In my mind he was the Dr. J of rap.

No, Eazy wasnt gay. Just an over indulgent rapper with the women.

Some people🤦🏽‍♂️ I can’t believe that folk just heard this song🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ this came out over 26 years ago and the beat is still relevant. This guy is talking like he’s just heard the song... that’s amazing 😉 just like other said , go watch NWA movie Straight Outta Compton, it will Explain about 85% of what happened back then , reason why I said 85% because I was there I’ve witnessed a lot of the rise but never fall only reassess of the group..... but after you see the 🎥 movie 🍿
PLEASE!!!!! DO NOT GO GET A NWA SHIRT or a STRAIGHT OUTTA WHERE EVER YOUR FROM SHIRT 👕 that really pisses off the people who TRULY grew up Compton ,,, such as me .... during those Times ... we hate that SH$@

Until 2pac Hit Em Up, this was the hardest diss ever, but this compared to Grandmaster flash in the late 1970s is even worlds apart like todays rap from 90s rap.
