- I recently discovered that Nintendo makes a HUGE (and expensive) real life Mario Kart toy / go kart called "Nintendo Super Mario Mario Kart 24-V Ride-on Racer". So... Naturally I had to try it out. I didn't take into account JUST how long it would take to put together though. We've tried Mario Kart Hot Wheels, lots of mario Kart toys, Lego, etc, but this is on a whole new level.

As a 27 year old toy collector with 2 sons, I can confirm that yes, building toys is a must with kids. HOWEVER, you do get to "test" everything before the kids get into them haha. Congratulations btw to you and your wife on the pregnancy!

Basically, most of the stuff from his videos that you don’t see in his collection will probably be given to the kid. Cause that’s all the stuff peebs doesn’t care very much for.
They should make these for adults. Pretty sure it would be successful since plenty of adults play Mario kart too.
For adults, buy a more expensive kart.

If Peebs released an album consisting of nothing but the songs he's covered over the years, I'd be first in line to buy it
as the middle child of a huge family, i can verify that you will be building stuff for a very, very long time. but ALSO...teach them how to build their stuff from an early age instead of insisting on doing it yourself- even if they're "wrong", they will learn how to problem solve and use tools AND...its a great bonding experience! just...dont have too many babies close in age or there will be no escape.
PRO PARENTING TIP: build the stuff the night before with a white claw/winne, saves so much stress

I just bought some Robo-Chi McDonald's toys off eBay so she could play with them, and I thought of you and your McDonald's toy vids. I'm not a parent, but based on what my brother and sister do for their kids birthdays and xmas, they unbox and build the present ahead of time, then wrap it built. Saves so much stress on the day and the kids are playing with stuff instantly.

definite must. My dad built a Barbie's Dreamhouse and a My Little Pony:
Paradise Estate for me when I was a kid. From what I remember, he said
that building the Dreamhouse was hard.

As the little sister who had to hold the lights for Dad as he built my older brothers toys... you better get used to instructions and reading them VERY carefully otherwise you break something and ruin Christmas for everyone. I also had the joy of being the small person to fish out pieces that fell behind the couch cause they opened boxes like you do! Be more careful!!!

As a parent to an almost 8 year old.... yes you will spend most birthdays and Christmas days building things 😅
You know, as a husband and expectant dad myself, there is a lot of building involved when you get married. My wife and I moved to a new state, new house, no furniture. I put together a desk, a chair, a television stand, and a bed frame so far. I even took my computer apart and put it back together cause it felt good just to tinker around. But building things is literally going to be the main thing you do. Congratulations to you and your wife, such a blessing. Make sure you have saltines on standby, morning sickness apparently has the ability to last the entire pregnancy

Speaking from personal experience as a fellow father manchild. Yes. On the floor, deciphering instructions with a screwdriver in hand is your life now. But fun fact: they make adapters you can plug into cars like that with power tool batteries to make them go super fast. 😎

As a parent, the answer to your question is yes, you're screwed, expect a lot of building 😂
The big difference though, is that once you're finished you get to see the pure unbridled love and awe in the eyes of a tiny version of you. That makes it all worthwhile 😁

I remember in the 2014 Smosh video, Real Mario Lava Floor!, they had a Mario Kart toy that Ian rode. Of course the toy was for children so Ian, a grown man, fitted very awkwardly in it but it was perfect for the comedy especially when he shot Stevie while riding it😂.

You will be building for your kid, but it's always a lot more fun if you keep in mind you're doing it for them. PLUS if it's a really cool toy that usually means you can get some quiet time or give your kid some freedom ;)

Not a parent, but I have had to build some of my nephew's toys due to my sister and my dad being at work, and I was watching him at the time. When he was old enough, he would assist me by handing me some of the components needed to build his toys. It's a cool bonding experience.
