WOW! Any parent would be super happy if their did as well as she did during this trip.
I love how Braylee’s shoes matches her jacket, that is so cute.
She really loves rainbow/unicorn colored things or sparkly things we have noticed 😀
My son, Mello has been travelling since he was 2 months old...now he is 8 years old. He always prefer to seat on the window seat. We travel from Asia, Middle east, Europe and the US...and he did fantastic. I was the one that always feeling nervous and exhausted.
That’s great! We only started traveling by airplane with her at the end of 2018! She tries to sit in the aisle seat 🤦🏻♀️
Those are long flights!! We can’t quite manage those yet, but maybe eventually 🙂
I think we are the same way! More nerves for us than her.
I love how she said ”hungry eat eat.” My so asks for food LITERALLY five minutes after dinner is over.🤣
She developed the habit of dying “hungry, eat” because we would ask her: are you hungry? Do you want to eat? Because then she would repeat the word eat when she wants to eat. Some days she just eats nonstop!
I am so proud of her for talking at least she tries her best to communicate
Love B’s smile as soon as the plane took off. So cute! So happy to hear how well she did on this trip
I love how she mimics you guys. It’s so cute ❤️
Oh jeez, from 85° ☉ 🏖 to -2 ❄⛄☃That would be a severe shock to the system! Braylee handled that journey like a pro, well done. 👏👏
It definitely was quite the shock! 😂 what a way to get adjusted back home.
Braylee is one of Gods special children. Love that happy child'
Braylee has the cutest smile ever!💙 Wish I was as calm as you guys on planes. I get super worked up when travelling with my 3yo😂
She’s generally pretty mellow, we are lucky with that! Makes it a tad easier for us to stay calm
B you did really good on the plane so proud of you
David coping his daughter in the plane, that is very cute but so hilarious at the same time! Haha 😂😂😊♡♡♡♡ Brayle is so adorable that's great that she loves aeroplanes, as I'd be the complete opposite quite frightened ❤💙💜 xoxo
Braylee did so well on the plane. Heck, whenever I fly longer than an hour on a flight, I get restless too lol. So I'm proud of her for sitting for that long and behaving! :)
Hi Wee family! I found your channel by Fathering Autism! I have autism, sensory processing disorder, OCD. Love from the Netherlands! 🇳🇱😀❤️❤️❤️🧩
Brand new to your channel . God bless sweet little Braylee and her wonderful parents!😊💙💚💙💚💙
I'm so glad you guys had such a great trip to Florida! Go Braylee for taking on all the transitions and changes like a champ! It's so fun hearing about all the progress she's making even when there are a few set backs here and there. You guys are amazing.
She is amazing 🙂 the setbacks have been so few and far between that it’s like a Goldilocks spot so we enjoy it while we are here!
Why am I just finding you guys now!! Absolutely love your lil fam! Braylees reaction to takeoff was soooo precious. I was around her age when I fell in love with airplanes, and I hope she continues enjoying flights!!
I’m not sure, but we are glad you did! 😃 I think she does really enjoy airplanes. Ever since ever first takeoff she just loves that part so much.
“Coffee and Consistency” should be the name of the new podcast.
Such a beautiful family, so happy for yous having your holiday but it’s always nice to get home, I loved following yr trip.
I'm looking at some old videos I haven't seen. I was impressed when Braylee answered you with "help" when you asked :"what do you say?" at the restaurant. I love any time she uses expressive language! and you two are just the best parents for Braylee hands down. You do everything with her and she blossoms because of it. I laughed so hard at the end. "using a Chuckee Cheese card and one of Braylee's gloves" to scrape off the ice on your windshield... That is something a lot of parents can relate to I am sure....
😂 I forgot about the Chuck E. Cheese card and tiny glove to scrape! It was so unbearably cold, especially coming back from warmth!!
Her expressive language is getting much better. The fact that she can respond to simple questions like “what’s that?” With a label answer makes me so happy and proud of her. She has worked and continues to work so hard for her words. ❤️
@@TheWeeFamily I know! Like when you were opening gifts and she was saying "mac and cheese" and when David was reading the other day and she was saying what the animals say. I just love that. She's a darling!
Hello love you all so much keep going you are all doing so amazing I have been binge watch all your videos on my lunch breaks and after work I’m loving every minute of it 🏆
I Am not shocked Bee did so well coming home. She lives with such well balanced parents. You are fantastic!!
I really like the skyline from the window on the plane! So Beautiful!!!
That’s my favorite part of flying is getting to see everything from up high!
Glad u all enjoyed your holiday x one amazing little lady x
Yay Braylee! Such a sweet, sweet girl! Her laugh just makes my day! Glad you all had a wonderful trip and made it home safely!
Thanks y'all for sharing! Y'all have an awesome family! Sweet, sweet video🤗🤗❤
My god, the sweetness! 🥰
Happy for you all, that Braylee had a good time and no meltdowns. Awesome! Love little B's smile and giggles 🐝....cute 🤗
Nice view out the window of the puffy clouds and the sunset. 🌄
I Don't care for flying, rather drive and be on the ground.
She did fantastic!
We do like road trips sometimes but it takes longer to get where we are going that way and we want to spend more time at our destination without missing too many days at therapy. If it’s closer, we will drive but for the long trips we fly now that we know she’s so good about it.
Thank you for sharing your life with us 💖
It is SO WONDERFUL to see how well B did on your trip to Florida & all of the time spent at Disney, etc. This is SO awesome the great advances that has happened in your lives. To have such positive, amazing experiences during the entire vacation!! Wow! You all have come SO FAR!!! I would imagine B missed her music room, while you all were gone. I just don't know how you all deal with those freezing temps!! I could NOT survive outside of Arizona💞Brrrrrrrrrr❄☃️🌨
It’s been so great to see how far she’s come and the things that we are able to do with her! She’s a rockstar.
We wouldn’t make it in Arizona, it gets so hot!
I love this channel. First time watching my dad lives in Wisconsin and I sometimes fly to Minneapolis Minnesota to visit him
Thank you! We love it here in MN. Somehow we haven’t explored Wisconsin much!
Also, can I just say that I love you guys! You are amazing parents!!!!
Glad you enjoyed your vacation. We lived around the Orlando area for a couple years and loved it! Well, it was too hot for my husband. He loves cold weather and snow.
I know y'all are happy to be home. Glad you had a great time in my home state of Florida, we hope you visit again soon
she did amazing she was so happy glad all went well minus the mad dash at the end another great video
I love my daily dose of B! She is the happiest little girl!! She warms my heart.
I love Braylee's laugh she makes me smile so much ♥
Way to go Braylee!!! What a
great vacation
Look at that sky.
Mac and Cheese is the best! As a kid that was almost all I would eat when we went out. My poor parents lol. Braylee did fantastic on that plane! Flying with Autism is hard. I am so impressed with her! I have a lot of anxiety and fear when thinking about flying but once I am in the airport and I see that it's a normal thing people do all the time it helps me calm down. The sensory issues from flying on the other hand are still hard. Especially the noise, but those noise canceling head phones are magic! I absolutely love the idea of wearing an autism shirt. That must make things so much easier for you guys. I don't remember how my parents handled my issues as a kid but I don't think I was quite as well behaved as Braylee was on that flight lol. I am so glad that you guys had so much fun on your vacation! I also love to hear parents say that their kids are getting better at self regulation. It takes practice (as you know) and doing stuff like going on vacation is the perfect way to practice it. I am an adult with Autism and I also volunteer at a horse summer camp for kids with Autism. Braylee melts my heart every video and that laugh is pure gold. Keep up the amazing videos! I am still going back and watching old videos from you as I am new to your channel. Take care!
She’s a pretty strict Mac and cheese eater too. She’s now gotten used to it when she sees an airport she pretty much knows what to expect. We realized how loud airports really are when the footage was being edited. The headphones are lifesavers for her! The shirt may be helping and we don’t even know it since we haven’t had issues in public much. 😅
She has gotten really good at self regulating which is such an important skill!
Oh my gosh Braylee would LOVE that! She does therapeutic horseback riding and loves it so much.
@@TheWeeFamily Yes therapeutic riding is so great! I did it as a young kid too. I have seen so many incredible positive changes in kids from riding. Horses are so healing. Animals in general are.
You stopped to see the waterfall 🤣🤣🤣 I was like hey! That’s where my Dunkin’ is!!!
😂😂 oh David. The mini gold waterfall must’ve been quite the sight to see
Braylee u were a star on t plane . I love your rainbow jacket
The Wee Family I wish they did rainbow colour jackets in my size I love rainbows and unicorns too
So adorable
I spent 6 months in Florida as a cast member in Disney in 2016-2017. So I spent all that time in the heat/warmth. So when I came home (I live in Maryland) and came home to snow, I almost turned back around 😂
Brady did well on the plane I wish I could handle take off as well as she did.
I have high functioning autism and anxiety disorder and I never been on a plane before I have a fear of heights
Glad you guys had a great trip home.
Where I live we used to have caribou. But they all closed down and we then got Peets(yuck). Then peets closed and Starbucks took over. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I like chai. So if I’m in MN or somewhere that has a caribou I’m excited! I like Dunkin for their hot chocolate.
There was one caribou about a 15 minute drive from us back when we lived in Colorado, but we never went. Here it’s basically all caribou. I’m not a coffee drinker like David so I prefer Starbucks because they have more options 😂
I love her “born anxious” shirt
The Wee Family that’s so cool. Perfect for when people stare. It gives them an answer without even saying anything.
I'm so happy that you guys had such a great trip! And that Braylee was able to enjoy herself. How old was she when you first travelled with her? We have yet to try it due to stress and fear!
We are happy with how it went too! we took road trips every few years when she was young and she generally did well in the car. Her first flight was in October of 2018!
You make me want to go to Florida!
Braylee’s laugh is still cute❤️❤️❤️ I sure hope to see Braylee on SBSK
Hi, that's will be nice. Braylee by SBSK! I saw a video with Fathering Autism by SBSK! Also very nice! Greetings from the Netherlands! 🇳🇱😀
Her laugh is contagious! SO glad she did SO well! Awesome memories for all!!
It is! It makes us laugh so often. It was a great trip all the way through! Great memories we won’t forget 😊
YAY for no meltdowns!! 🥳
Downloading this to watch on my own flight tomorrow!
Well I can imagine with any child you don’t have time to think of yourselves. 😂 nothing better than saving my fav people to help me through the boredom of the rolling clouds
Haha this reminds me when i went to Vegas and im originally from Mass lol. So we left vegas and it was like 70’s and when we returned to Mass it was -7 lmfaoooooo
It’s such a shock to the body! 😂 we survived but it was definitely alarming
Awesome
Oh Braylee, I'm feeling you on the Mac & Cheese. It's great to see how well she did while you were traveling.
lol ... you two remind me of my husband and I every time we return from FL to NY in winter. No sun for months. We choose to live in the frozen tundra and home of taxes!
It is actually starting to warm up the last few days which is nice! We prefer the summers here than the tropical places!
Same here. Mid-40s today but snow by midweek. It's a quiet life here; passing Amish buggies on the way to work uphill is the only stressor. No hurricanes to worry about.
Exactly!! We don’t have the Amish buggies locally, but if we go up north a bit more we do see them. We like the more rural life.
8:55 that sweet laugh 🥰
Yay Braylee for doing such an amazing job throughout your vacation. You go girl!
I actually miss the days when my son would eat mostly Mac and cheese. It made meals a little easier 😂. He decided a few months back that he no longer likes the texture on Mac and cheese.
She was a champ! Oh no!! Did he at least give you an alternative of what to feed him?? I mean I will give her that, she’s very consistent
The Wee Family yes. He has about 8 other foods that he’ll eat most of the time. Carrot sticks, hamburgers and chicken are almost always a yes. Just recently he started eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches which I’m pretty happy about.
i have ASD and an eating disorder. ALL food is to be secured so I don't eat it all. My ASD is unique as I NEED constant supervision.
Braylee is meeeee getting excited for some Mac n cheese good stuff
Hahah we do lots of chanting “mac and cheese” around here. It gets her amped up 🤣
The Wee Family do ya have restaurants that just serves Mac n cheese? Or she’s specific on how she likes her Mac n cheese
Get the DD bags or k-cups
Im not sure if you know this but Braleys service dog can go with you everywhere that’s includes going in airplanes that could help with travel my brother has autism and is nonverbal as well and his service dog goes everywhere with us we went for a trip in march for his birthday and his service dog got to ride right below his feet
Yep! We know he can fly. This video was taken almost a year before we got Braylee’s service dog. That is great that your brother travels with his service dog. ♥️
Great vlog, awesome travelling Braylee well done you ❤️💜. Do you still sell the born anxious t-shirt I can't see it on the, teespring page? I think I need one. Xxx ❤ 💜 ❤️ 💜
We actually don’t sell them! It’s from a company called Born Anxious. They have a website that sells them.
@@TheWeeFamily thanks, sad the money won't be going to you guys but I do have your boat t-shirt ❤️💜❤️💜
I know you all had a great vacation, but home is where the heart is, im sure you will be glad to get back home right ?
Absolutely! Vacation is good for short durations, but Braylee especially, loves being home and in her routine. 🙂
did you learn that you should keep a scraper in the car at all times after this experience?? LOL
I bet everyone be hating on the one person who gave a thumbs down.
That’s good Braley has the muffs over her ears
Hey guys, hope you are all well :) your trip looks amazing @bornanxious
You can tell you guys live in a cold weather state, we don’t need no coats!!!
Do you have a Dutch bros coffee or a Ziggy's? I y favorite coffee shop is Loveland coffee. Sugar free vanilla with soymilk no whip.☕
We don’t have either of those 😔
David is a plain Latte guy, sometimes an extra shot of espresso
I just stared watching a few days ago and Braylee is so cute. How old is she?
Does Braylee have silver fillings? Our dentist doesn’t do those anymore. They mentioned they are known to cause medical problems.
She doesn’t have silver fillings, they are all capped teeth. Any of her fillings have been white.
How old was Braylee when she first flew on a airplane? I have a 3 1/2 yr old little girl who is very active, any suggestions for a plan ride ? I’m terrified !!
Her first flight was on her 5th birthday! We have a few older videos with flying tips 🙂
But I’d say, check your area if they do mock flights. Ours does and it was great. Social stories so she knows what to expect, lots of talking about it and watching videos. We took some of her favorite toys/activity and set them aside or away for a week or two before the flight to save as flight incentives. Got a few new things as well for the flight. Snacks and drinks. We brought headphones because inside a plane is pretty noisy. We try to book flights for times that Braylee would be in her best mood or sleeping also. Hope those help! Feel free to ask anything else
The Wee Family thanks so much for the wonderful advice , much appreciated !
I adore your family ❣️
if you got her a toy that had buckles on it, would she stim with that instead of using the seat buckle???
I have autism
I'm so proud of you braylee! You are growing up so fast and enjoying new things and surprising us all! I have to keep coming back for the mac and cheese and the smiles! Thank you for helping me better understand autuism! Everyone is different and everyone is beautiful in their own way! Ps. On the way home from work one winter night we had to use a pet co card to scrape the windshield every 4 miles because it was freezing rain and we didnt have winter wipers and we didnt have an ice scraper 😂 thank god the pet co card lasted almost till home before it broke into pieces.
We are all very proud of her and she’s getting so experience so much and having a great time! It makes us happy to feel that she’s living a full and happy life. Everyone is different and beautiful in their own way.
oh wow! RIP petco card 😂 we used a Chuck E. Cheese card
@@TheWeeFamily I believe she is living her life to the fullest! Her smiles show how amazing both you and her are doing even on the bad days! Dont forget that even when you "make mistakes" you are still perfect because you are doing everything you can for her please dont let the haters get to you! that is very true everyone is perfect in their own way "flaws" and all! 🤣 yes rip pet co card! I'm glad your chuck E cheese card faired better than ours!
I came from Fathering Autism! Can I ask is Bee verbal or nonverbal Autism?
Has she got a silver tooth
It the fillings needed were too large. It protects them and if there are issues with baby teeth it can cause issues with the adult teeth as well.
My name is Becky and I have special needs to I have a learning disability cerebral palsy atexia
"born anxious" on the front, lol I need that shirt
