I think Lois misspoke in saying “be normal” she really just meant he needs a break because he was driving himself into the ground with no sleep and stuff. So I think Lois came from a good intention and just used the wrong words for him.

All those noises were overwhelming
Despite how much I hated what happened to Superman in this episode, this was ultimately a great episode that put Superman in a tense situation that shows that he isn't invincible and has struggles. All Superman has tried to do is help people, and with one simple mistake, which could arguably have been set up by the general, the people turned on Superman. It also doesn't help that Vicky Vale wrote an article about Superman being a menace, using only one negative source despite having multiple positive sources. Another thing that doesn't help is Lois having doubts about Superman due to the footage of evil versions of Superman. She shouldn't have even brought it with her. In the wrong hands, it could easily ruin Superman beyond repair. I also hated that such a good person gets beaten up and captured by task force X aka the suicide squad, but Superman showed even in his weakened state he could handle most of them. Superman however did nothing to deserve being captured and I hope that in part 2 that he convinces the people that he's the good guy.
I think he's "weaker" because he is still learning about his powers...thus not at full capacity yet.
Cause Superman alone is a beast
When Mist/Kyle puts his hand to the shock 🌩⚡️⛈️ band around his neck, after watching the general keep Ivo/Parasite from murdering Superman so he can get information (which he *_doesn't even have_* 😠😡🙄😒🤨), he looks _horrified_ at what he just helped do to Superman, and after Superman showed *genuine kindness* to him in wanting to help free his sister 🥺😔.
There's also a chance, if only a small one, that he and the rest of the villains (minus Ivo/Parasite and Deathstroke) will help Lois and Jimmy to free and save Superman after Mist/Kyle reflects on how Superman had shown them kindness at one point or another (Leslie Willis/Livewire when Slade Wilson/Deathstroke damaged her suit and was going to die and cause even more immeasurable damage to Metropolis until Superman removed the power source crystal from her harness while saying he was there to help; Rory/Heat Wave when he was trying to tell her he wasn't kidnapping anyone, didn't physically attack her and said he only wanted to help; and Kyle McDougal (other sources say his last name is "Nimbus" 🤔🤷♂️)/Mist when he saved him from being run over by a truck, and when he told him that (admittedly false) story about his escaping and trying to save his sister (could be half-sister or adoptive 🤔🤷♂️) Siobhan McDougal/Silver Banshee and his friend Albert/Rough House, his reply was "I can't let you do that, not alone" 🥺😔) and they might all end up becoming actual heroes. Of course that might just be wishful thinking on my part, but, it's a good thought though, right 🤔🤷♂️?

This show is a love letter to Superman they portray Superman better than the DCEU did because they portray him the right way this is Superman the movies need to take inspiration from this show they need to hire the creators of this show or Superman & Lois to make the movies maybe the DCEU movies would be watchable if they did

@@REELITINREACTIONS Everything Alex said is something Lex Luther would say. Everyone knows Lex hates Superman because he is jealous of his powers and wants to surpass him.
Since Vicki Vale is in this series, anyone else hoping that we at least see a small Batman cameo eventually down the line. Personally, I kinda hope that he’s voiced by 2004 The Batman (Rino Romano) since that underrated cartoon is slightly similar to this one.
Vicky vale and the General really pissed me off in this episode 😡
