And not only that, because they have just announced a joint venture and started a school to train all umpires about the intricacies of their fine trade, so that another generation can enjoy this great game 😄

Joe West has been around *THIS* long!? I just saw him a few years ago at Anaheim Stadium. I’m 51yo and had no idea this guy was calling games when I was a kid. What a dream career!!

And this is exactly the reason that there is now replay review in all sports... The plays are far too close for anyone to be perfect... Although Joe West always did like a good confrontation and argument... And so did Pete ✌

He interjects himself into the game as if the fans pay their hard earned money to see him. His stare down of Bumgarner and his grabbing of Pappelbon exemplifies his narcissistic demeanor and attitude. I have seen his podcasts. Big deal. Not funny.
