Oh my goodness you have inspired me!! I am stitching This is the Day and I so did not like to goats - but if it was part of the pattern I felt like I had to stitch it - well let me tell you that large jumping goat is coming right out of this piece. I don't know why I didn't even think of NOT stitching it!! Thank you so much for the idea! And as a side note I lived in Harrah and taught school in McLoud about 20 years ago - now in Montana!!

Hi Erin! I used Old Lace, Rustic Black, Gecko, Apricot, Marigold, and Petal. I think the brown is Jamestown. I used a Kreinik sparkly green to stitch the potion in the cauldron.
I need to get This Is The Day back out! Love how you framed it. Also bought the PDF Sew Merry! I also had a hysterectomy in April and stitched May! Take care and goid luck at fair!

My son lives in Oklahoma City and if I understood you correctly you purchased many of your finishing pieces from a place called Basket Works which is associated with Hobby Lobby. Can you tell me is this is a place that has regular shopping hours and the location. Thanks in advance.
Hang in there and enjoy the downtime you have. I was in your shoes - 14 years of dedication to a company and then pushed into early retirement 2-1/2 years ago. It felt weird not having a daily routine. Cross Stitch came back into my crafting on top of quilting. I now have my first granddaughter and I get to spend 3 days a week enjoying every moment with her. Enjoy those kiddos ❤️🧡
Could not hear most of what you said...you need a microphone or sit within 24 inches of camera/phone/mic. Does the Colour and Cotton floss come in 8 yard skein for around $3.00?? Looked at 123 Stitch and could tell if you got one yard for the price they listed, or 8 yards. Hope you can clear this up. Good luck with Fair wins....
