Gavin, sat in front 500 books for children: ‘as an uncle, what do I have?’ 🤣🤣
Can’t wait to pick some of these up!
I really enjoyed The House With Chicken Legs, so I need to read The Girl Who Speaks Bear. Also The Christmas Carrolls 😍 love that edition
I read "A Christmas Carol" during the 2020 Christmas season. I went into wondering if it was actually any good and came out with the extremely lukewarm take that this beloved Christmas classic that's been adapted 132 times is actually pretty good.
Every single video, your coffee/tea looks so freaking appealing.
This is great! I’m going to use some of these in our classroom this month. Super cozy!! ❄️
Going to have to come back to this when it's cold outside again.
I cannot wait to read Midnight in Everwood! I love all things Nutcraker-inspired, so I'm very much looking forward to it. The Toymaker's Apprentice also sound so good!
So many wonderful books for me to try to read! You and Lexi have reinvigorated my love of my middle grade so thank you so much! I read A Christmas Carol for the first time last year and was also pleasantly surprised! 😊🎄
So many good recommendations! Thanks for making this list, I haven’t heard of most of these!
really looking forward to seeing the starless sea featured in this video😌👀
Oop didn't realise I made a books to use as kindling for your christmas fire recommendations video
Ooooh yay, the perfect video to cheer me up on a Monday! ✨🥰
Great video, I need that book with the Snow Queen on the cover, I didn’t realise either that Frozen was loosely based on The Snow Queen.
I can’t wait to read The Winter Garden, I am really looking forward to it. I am just finalising my December tbr but am so looking forward to this month of reading 🤗
So excited for A Storm of Sisters 🥺 The Ice Whisperers was so good 🥰
I so hope I will love Midnight in Everwood as much as you did, because last year you were one of the reasons why I put this book on my Must have books list :D
I'm having the best time watching this while making cookies! (Also screenshot all the ones I need to check out!) ❄☃️
Hi Gavin, oh my goodness, so many of these that sound fantastic.....might have to go book shopping now. Lol
Just the video I've been searching for. So cozy and Christmasy. Thank you Gavin! 🎄
Thank you so much for watching!
@@GavinReadsItAll You're so welcome.
I think we need a vlog where you teach us your coffee making ways. Pls. 😊 Maybe you could do a book recommendation based on your different coffees and alcoholic bevies 🍹 love to see it! ♥️
I watched Nutcracker ballet and even for someone who doesn't care about story(or ballet tbh) it was magical
I was so restrained and didn’t buy Midnight in Everwood on sale yesterday and now I am regretting it.
So many recommendations….. I just purchased the winter garden. I’m gifting this book to myself for Christmas.
I love the cover of midnight in everwood 👀
First, YOU ARE ADORABLE! second, I adore your accent. (American here and I LIVE FOR YOUR ACCENT) third I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!! Thank you for making this video so much I have been wracking my brain trying to find cute Christmas winter books for me and my daughters to read for the holiday season. This gives me so many books to choose from for the three of us. Much love from NC!!!
I’ve added sooo many into my tbr 🤦🏽♀️🤣
I'm going to read Where the Mountain Meets the Moon for January s buzz word ( who, what, when, where, why, and how)
Great recommendations! ❄️
I have a bit of an ambitious TBR for December 😬 but these are the ones I’m hoping to get to:
-Fledgling
-Wishyouwas
-A Snowfall of Silver
-The Secrets of Winterhouse
-The Toymakers
-The Very Merry Murder Club
-The Truth Pixie
-A Mouse called Miika
-Nutcracked
-The Winter Garden
-A Christmas Carol
-Always in December
-The Twelve Dates of Christmas
-Mr Dickens and his Carol
As an uncle, you have a fabulous library to share. Your niece or nephew could have your love of reading
Your edition of The Nutcracker by Dumas has me drooling. Where'd you manage to grab such a beauty?
I saw the authors who were included in The Haunting Season and immediately ordered a copy. It does seem that ghost stories during the winter holiday season is making a comeback. Perhaps most people only know about Dicken's A Christmas Carol as the original holiday ghost story, but he wrote it because telling ghost stories during the Yuletide was a popular Victorian tradition. I've filled up my December tbr with several several holiday ghost story collections. And thank you, I've added a bunch of the middle grades you mentioned to my tbr list.
I finished A Midnight In Everwood yesterday and gave it 3.5 stars. I have such conflicting feelings about the ending!!!
"it's like the night circus but it has a plot" lmao
Loved this video. Do read sinclair mysteries by Katherine woodfine.
💛💛💛
I love the Joey Pigza series (5 books) by Jack Gantos. Joey has ADHD, but the family relationships are the source of most of the drama in the books. Book #3, I Am Not Joey Pigza, has some wild goings-on between Joey and his dad at Christmas.
Sorry, that's book #4, not #3.
❤️❤️❤️
Watching this wearing a dressing gown too, #twins LOL
Sprayed edges give me LIFE
That copy of the snow queen is so cute!!
Hallmark Christmas movies always slap, the cheesier the better
💛💛💛
