nice vid. I'm curious how much more torque/hp you're averaging. something I noticed on my 2018 2.0 - hold the small button above your mode selector (where you choose between sport, touring etc...) for about 5-8 seconds until you've completely disabled the traction control systems. this makes a significant difference in power especially when launching from a complete stop. Also, any issues with overheating since you installed the tune?
hey carlos, i'm from miami too, i have a 2.0 also. i've been debating on the race chip but i've heard negative comments about RS. do you still have your camaro? would love to meet up to see it. i've been doing research for tunes in general for the 2.0 but the only choices i see is the RS or you dyno tune it. but i kinda don't want to do that cause warranty just in case which is why i was leaning towards the RS. let me know !
hey my guy, i know this is a year old video & probably don’t have that car anymore but i had a question about the chip. i just installed a VRTUNED performance chip & it’s exactly like the one in here just different brand. would you be able to explain to me on the number settings? i have an ecoboost mustang that i have this chip on. right now i’m driving it at 4 & so far it has a nice pick up to it nothing big big
you think this will work on my 2021 2.0? i wanna buy it but people said 2021's file is not unlocked yet cuz I called many local tuner and that's what they all said
sick video bro.. i see you got the 2020 too i got mine with the rs package and im hitting 12,000 miles soon im thinking about getting a tune as well how much did all together cost you it was a good video i tell you bro .. i see that pull but have you raced anyone with it ? and what do u rate gts ? and do you got any other bolt ons?
Oh no not yet I don’t do much of that these days, got too much at risk with my career and all haha. But it has been doing really good! Very dependable never had any problems with it and no lights ever came up, this one was $500 shipping and everything included.
And no I don’t have any other bolt ons, however I am now selling this very same tune ship because I’m gonna upgrade to an LT1 soon, actually putting in an order this Monday (I’ll make a video on that also 😉). So I won’t have use for this tune chip, hit me up if you’re interested
@@calebgibson1973 I’ve never heard of a dealership adjusting boost pressure. Cause that will automatically void the warranty. But yes those would interfere with each other, if that’s what you’re asking
@@zonamade3380 Probably talking about a Dealership tune that won't void your warranty. Chevy did this with the Cobalt SS as Ford does with it's Ecoboosts and Focus RS.
Your factory warranty will only ever be voided by a Chevrolet representative not by a dealer. Simply because they want to do their best to keep you as a customer. I took my car to get serviced and nothing happened. It’s the same way at my dealership and the dealerships my friend’s work at.
I'm selling my GTS with the matching XLR/ with bluetooth throttle controller, I'm doing a total rebuild, so I'm starting from scratch, there's about 6,000 miles on it, still in my car, never had a problem, I paid $499 for chip & $299 for controller/ with bluetooth.. I'll let both go for $600+shipping, original boxes, all instructions included, P.M. me if interested
aaand the result? it FEELS like there's a change. You have a performance timer on the Camaro. Use it and notice that there's no change, except for the different take offs which have nothing to do with the race chip and everything to do with tire grip and how much you rev your engine beforehand.
Just throw that trash away 🤦♂️ only idiots fall for the race chips , unless there a tuner behind that race chip sending log updates , it’s a waste of money for the most minimal performance gain 😂

Hey how was the long term use of this chip? Was there any problems?
Hey did you have to unlock the tcm with hp tuners to tune it?
Would this work on a 2021? Ik the tcm is locked so its hard to get tuned
ANY UPDATES. CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO WHERE YOU GET TO ACTUALLY TEST IT RIGHT?
