I heard all most classical musicians from Madurai Somu, Subbalakshmi Ammal, to Gayathri. But only S. Janaki Alapana, pranonciation tone, pitch and melody are the Best. Why the people who love classical music not reminding the government to honour her desrvingly.

I have been listening to these keetanas since 1980, her LP record i have made tape record. When ever i am disturbed i use to listening to this gandharva ganam. She is one end only singer who expresses emotions and feelings along with traditional meters like laya, talam etc.
