Urban Meyer's behavior is understandable. The NFL is scripted entertainment and rigged and Meyer probably found out too late. This happened to former Dallas Cowboys Coach Jimmy Johnson and why he left the way he did. Both established and successful coaches were handed a script that pretty much said, "You are now being paid to lose." Meyer never had a chance. With Johnson, at least he won two Superbowls just before the major switch from "true sports competition" to "sports entertainment." I mean, if I worked my entire life to make it to the top of my profession, only to be handed a script that dictated whether I win or lose, I know I would have a serious case of the "F-Its." I don't blame Meyer one bit and hope he recovers with as much family and friend support as possible.

I don't have all that confidence in Trev. I think he'll be around the league for a while, but suspect he'll be holding a clipboard by year 3. The speed of the game is too much. He is struggling to read coverage and has the same tendency as many of the other QB's from that program, telegraphs where he is going with the ball. Great athlete with some remarkable skills, but not so sure of what lies ahead.

He played Ohio state Texas A&M, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame,LSU, Clemson plays two SEC teams every year. Yeah your right they don’t play nobody. Ask Nick Saban if he thinks that Clemson should be there at a Championship level. I know you don’t think so but you can’t make it to the national championship playoffs without being great. Just give the respect that Clemson deserves. Everybody has to play teams in their conferences even in the SEC and up until this year they didn’t have more than 3 great teams all conferences have 2 to 3 good teams in it. Now this year they have a whole lot more than 3. If Clemson was not good they would not have beaten Alabama 2 times coached by the greatest football coach of all time Nick Saban. Whom ever is your team you should take pride in them you don’t play in the Championship Game for the title 5 out of 6 times beating the best of that year and not be good. I think if coach Ervin doesn’t straighten up he won’t be there next year doesn’t it seem like they’re is chaos there and he needs to fix what ever it is I hate seeing coach going through this also. Lawrence will be fine. If he's as great as I think he is...& many others think...this will just be a minor speed bump on his path to Canton. If he doesn't become that guy,you can't blame Urban Meyer. This season might delay his development, but if he's trueley great...1 season isn't gonna wreck his career. Not like the Jags were gonna win this season... doesn't matter if Bellichek,Lombardi,or Saban were their coach. They don't have enough talent.
Meyer did a lowsy job,as I expected. He's great in college, but I never thought his style would work with millionaire pros, making more than him. But in the grand scheme,Lawrence will be fine,& we won't remember this very much,in 3-4 yrs... except as another example of how being a great college coach, doesn't mean you will be great in the NFL,& vice versa.
