i am waiting on this paper to arrive. it is really beautiful. not too much in my style but i know people who would love to receive a card made with it.
thank you for your video! a great idea for this paper. the big tip here is using the circle die to decide where to cut the birds.
i am one of those people who would have cut it into strips and then used the birds that were available... you saved me from missing out on all the birds!
(i want to add that i really like the skinny border of the circles.
with the fresh freesia card i find my eye going right to the wide borer on the circles before it sees the beautiful birds.)
@sheryl5252 Thank you so much for the great comment Sheryl! I am usually very careful cutting papers that I really love! I wish SU would give us some circle dies that provide the thin border on the 2nd layer. Maybe some day! ❤
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling up to par, Sally. It sure does sound like Covid. Take care of yourself and take it easy. Love those cards! They are so pretty. Is the discontinued dies you used called "Layering Dies"?
@patriciadee2804 Thank you Patricia! I'm shocked to hear that these are Covid symptoms! I think I'm on the mend but still taking it easy. I'm glad you like the cards! Those dies are relatively old and are called Layering Circles Framelits dies. They really are a great set! You can probably find them used online. They probably aren't cheap though!

Sorry to hear you didn't feel well. Had some of those symptoms 2x and had Covid both times! Finally recovering from this bout...😷

@@getcraftywithsally28 Today will be a week, and while I am feeling better, still not 100%. I am vaccinated with 2 boosters, so this bout was not nearly as bad as I had it in 3/2020 etc. Stay hydrated and get up and move around as much as you can. Almost my whole family came down with it between Christmas and NYE, luckily my husband had very mild symptoms and was able to work from home to help. Even if you lose your appetite, force yourself to eat, it will help with the nausea and dizziness...at least for me it did. Still having problems with sleeping (obviously lol). I'm in Michigan so it's late. The cards were so pretty. I liked them all! Will definitely be making some. I signed up with SU back in 2019 just as a hobby demonstrator and to feed MyHabit with a discount. lol. All you ladies I follow on here are so talented! Please take care and feel better soon!
@@theresaswit1840 Thank you so much for all of the information! Yesterday was a week for me as well. I haven't had any problem sleeping. I'm sorry you are having that issue. It's very frustrating and exhausting! I just took a Covid test. I will be shocked if it is positive! Thank you for your sweet comments about the cards! I really love that paper! I am a hobby demo as well, although I do have a handful of customers. Only a couple of regulars. I hope you and the rest of your family are all back to normal soon! ❤
