My brother and I always loved the Talon Trot jump sound. Roo, roo, roo. Being faster is just a bonus :)
Also we called the jump-attack ah-ah-ee-jump lol
One of the best games of all time. Glad to see a 100% run!
I love how having this on in the background at the start nukes sounds like shes just chilling talking to her self
I hope that gdq keeps having banjo during their events, two of my favorite games with some of my favorite runners like duck!
This was super interesting to watch. Great run, congrats on the PB! Definitely gonna check out your stream. Good luck on your future runs!
I do some sm64 speedrunning but banjo kazooie runs might be one of my favorites being my #1 childhood n64 game. You and GDQ did not disappoint! Such a good run man gl on tooie runs.
I love Banjo Kazooie! Banjo Kazooie was the first game i phisically bought with my own money. You would find me with my neck cricked up at the screen for as long as my family was shopping at the local Wal-Mart Banjo Kazooie Display. The day I brought this home i can't describe the relief i felt that i wouldn't have to wait for the next Wal-Mart trip to play my favorite game. Also my posture probably thanked me. :P
The bit clips in click clock wood are costing lives but not resetting the note counters really interesting
One of the best Game of All time Played it with my father back in the 90s loved it nice run Keep up the good work
Love your work Duck!
i followed duck on twitch a long time ago but i aint watched his runs in awhile. thanks for reminding me about him :)
Great stuff! Well done 💪
I do my own “speed run” of this game once every 1-2 years. I 100% it, quickest I’ve done it is just over 5 hours. I do t have the attention span to do it in a single sitting so usually I’ll play it across 3 sessions. Love this game
So good!!! Go Duck! 😍🥳
This was an amazing run through ggs
Hey y'all, follow me on twitch for more Banjo speedruns www.twitch.tv/duck
Wow I've played thru this game maybe 10 times and never thought to use gold feathers on those frogs in bubblegloop swamp
29:20 AMAZING
I would like to see more speed run races of this game and banjo tooie
Duck is amazing
Rusty Bucket Bay is the best stage fact!
Don't know if I missed it, but why does a picture move kill furnace fun skip?
Because it loads the stage for the picture and then loads back the FF stage, which resets things related to the talon trot trick.
The first shop tattoo I ever got was a jiggy from banjo-kazooie. It's an aged one with cracks and chips.
fav childhood game. lets go!!!
Not a GDQ stream without some sort of technical glitch.. 😂
No Vile song? HERESY!
👏🏼👏🏼
Is this run the No Furnace Fun Moves version?
Yes
When you're voiding out of CCW, why doesn't the death reset your notes?
Because that's not a death, just a warp.
Why arent you using furnace fun moves?
Personal choice
is there an all mumbo token 100% run?
I think that's impossible cuz I think two tokens in Click Clock Wood have the same value so if you collect one the other disappears... would be fun to see though!
@@finchvink The Click Clock Woods Mumbo Tokens are both collectable in the same run. Basically you just have to get them both in the same life, if you die or exit the level after having gotten one of them, the other will disappear. If you dont die you can get both of them no problem. The bigger issue is MMM has 2 mumbo tokens with the same ID as well, but grabbing one makes the other disappear... unless you do some weird jank. Basically you go to the cellars, open the barrel with the mumbo token, DONT COLLECT IT, then leave turn into a pumpkin, go down the toilet, grab the mumbo token there, then go back to the cellar and grab the first mumbo token. If you grab either of them without entering the rooms both are in, you can only get one, but if youve seen both before picking up them, then you are fine and can get both.
2.... This and Paper Mario

please tooie 100% next
I have never seen the door behind gobi open in the small thing he is standing O.o
It's one of the Stop 'n' Swop doors. There are six eggs and the Ice Key; these were planned on being a thing where you would unlock the cheat to open the doors in Tooie, get the goodies, then go to the Stop 'n' Swop screen and swap cartridges to Tooie in order to get new goodies in that game.
Nintendo, being allergic to fun, made a revision of the N64 that made this impossible in response, which is why the B-K cartridges in Tooie are a thing.
Well, This is my opinion and I want to say I love this game and commend the Runner to showing me there are things about this game I didn't know...
The one question I have, So if you Glitch or Exploit the game, Isn't that considered cheating also? Because despite the game flaws doesn't or shouldn't count as time loss during a speedrun because that is going against the design of the game... Despite they are there to be utilized, But they shouldn't be... To get an official time in my opinion is playing the game without these glitches or Exploits to become "more" official. But, That is more of a question than a statement. "Why do people exploit the game or use glitches to make their Speedrun times shorter...?"
the glitchless speedrun categories are separate from the ones that use glitches, so if you prefer glitchless runs, you can look for those. people who use glitches don't have any kind of unfair advantage against people who don't, because the times are not compared to each other. it isn't cheating if everyone who is competing is using the same rules.
as for why people use glitches, it's just a matter of preference. glitches can take a lot of skill and effort to pull off. it might be satisfying to master them. also, if you have already played the same game multiple times, it can be fun to find other ways to play it so that it doesn't get too boring or repetitive.
basically, to most speedrunners, using glitches is just another way of playing the game. it's fine if you personally think it's more impressive to complete the game without glitches, but i think it's good that people have the option to run different categories.
Sometimes glitches can make a run really interesting and they can be fun to perform. Some runners like to take the game to its limit and see how much they can do with it and that involves glitches. But a lot of games have categories for glitchless runs so people can choose to run with or without glitches :)

He said glitches weren't allowed then immediately used a glitch for treasure trove cove...
He said the sand castle cheats aren't allowed. The sand castle has cheat codes the devs put in the game you can use, nowhere is it stated that this category is glitchless
He meant the sand castle cheats in treasure trove cove
@@CC-df3pn I may have misunderstood what he was trying to say, I did forget about the cheats the books give you.
