- Well Hello Traveler, I here now to share you "Raiden Shogun" battle music theme as we face her again for the 2nd time in Archon Quest of Genshin Impact 2.1 Inazuma Patch Update, I recorded it multiple times and doing Zhongli Shield to tank Raiden Attack. Huhu~Smoge.
I also did some mixing and cut the music to give it "Full rounded" sound. The original audio is an "Eternity" loop, so I cut the audio to give some kind of ending.
I hope you enjoyed such pleasant soundtracks as much as I did. I really appreciate your time. Enjoy the Music :D

When I saw the saw the flash between Traveler and Teppei followed by him saying "Abolish the Vision Hunt Decree" nothing but utter chills swear it was like something straight out of a final fight in an anime.

The second phase gave me goosebumps and a great part of that exitement was the great music they composed for it

Actually it's just once if you didn't fight Shogun in the previous patch yet. I don't know if it's a bug but I saw streamers who did Archon quests recently and I noticed that no BGM is playing when they fight Shogun for the first time.

When her 2nd phase dropped with her Smiling, pulling out HER sword(instead of Baals polearm), and the music picking up in tempo and dropping the bleakness of the first phase I just laughed out loud, jumped up on my chair and yellef "Fuck yes! Let's go!". And you can feel she is much more active on phase 2, seemingly having a blast herself. Can't blame her, i was enjoying myself as well.
For real tho the boss fight had me on the edge of my seat using aether against her really felt the OST it's so fucking gooddd!!!
I even want to equip a dull blade just for the fight to lasted longer. Her movesets and skills during phase 2 was amazing. The quality of this fight was equal to Dmc 5 - Vergil boss fight based on their similarities and characteristics.

Some fun tidbits:
Fighting Ei in the Plane of Euthymia shouldn’t be considered a physical battle. If it were physical, Ei would literally tear everything apart, including the platform her and the Traveler fought on. Instead, we should think of Euthymia as a Spirit Realm, like in The Last Airbender. They already mentioned how Ei has complete control over the Realm, and how the Realm itself represents her mental state. When fighting Ei for the first time, the Traveler is completely destroyed due to his will being shaken and far weaker than Ei’s. In the second fight, however, they were trained, prepared, and experienced. The fight was much closer, but the Traveler still remained on the losing side as their Will alone isn’t enough.
The tide turns not because the Traveler was stronger, but because the combined Willpower and Hope of Inazuma PLUS the Traveler’s own Willpower surpassed Ei’s desire for eternity over Inazuma. All the voices the Traveler hears were the desires of the people to be heard by Ei. When Ei sees HER Plane of Euthymia getting taken over by the people of Inazuma, she can only crack a smile because her people had the strength to penetrate her hardened heart.
If the Traveler fought Ei in Teyvat, they’d be squished like a slime.

Her boss fight had buffs outside of your own characters just like in osial's bossfight, except instead of the adepti buffing you, it's the ambitions of the vision wielders. She wouldn't work as a weekly boss.

the 1st phase ost makes us all as players feel the pressure of opposing an archon since so far in story the 2 other archons we meet where either neutral with us or allies to us later on .Hence why in the 2nd phase with the power of friends- cough i mean with the power of ambition we get the strength to finally oppose and have a chance at defeating Ei . Also another thing i noticed and would like to mention is the fact that this is the second time we get a buff that makes us insanely op while a fighting in an archon quest ,the 1st time was when we had to protect the adepti from the fatui in the 1.1 archon quest against Osial .Maybe this will become a trend in genshin archon quests????

Its a thing in honkai, basically mhy will adjust/set the "stage" for you which kinda rigs you to win the battle on fairer ground.
Well, I think even with the buff Traveller will still lose. If traveller fought EI/Shogun on an open area and not inside her Euthymia which making her to focus both on consciousness and spirit while fighting. Next we need fight an archon on open area! Let's see how they change the environment with their ability! 😂
I'm seriously considering making a second genshin account just so that I can play the Inazuma questline again and fight Ei again
they should add an option to reply the archon quests but no rewards to have it balanced

As much as I would LOVE to fight Ei again cuz that fight is so fun, that’d take a HECK lot of time. Consider everything you did on ur main account and do it on the alt and just the story quests alone just for a battle is a bit.. tedious and yea

The first phase is so smart, you can hear a constant heartbeat because ur fighting ei herself, and there is an instrument that sounds similar to thunder when lightning strikes.
Raiden Shogun’s theme whether flute, violin, EDM, is just the best. Always amazes me when people make tribute vids and change her music to something else, there isnt any need. This is perfect

@@doraaaa0613 I see your point. But to be honest: I do not see the logic behind the cube-puzzle for example. At least not without explanation. Same goes for the water-shield-puzzle for example as I spend 10 minutes to find out you has to hit the first pillar. And so on. I never look up puzzles on the internet so I'm more or less troubled sometimes. The Sakura-Root-Puzzle for example was way cooler and self-explanatory for me, the shipwreck was totally cool. So for me it is sometimes stupid and sometimes pretty cool ^^
But the puzzles are the reason i keep exploring the maps ;/ oh including the bgm of each areas, really fascinating

Unpopular opinion, but I like first phase more. It's tense, constantly keeping you alert. You feel like your life can end by just a small mistake while fighting this incredibly powerful deity. Someone that leveled mountains and whose sword slashes made valleys dividing entire islands in half, yet at the same time every successful dodge, every attack that hit and dealt damage makes you feel like a badass that can fight this unmeasurable force to a standstill 1:1 - and maybe even win.
And then power of friendship gets in…

what do you mean power of friendship? the traveler absorbs all the inazumans ambition that comes from the visions because they themselves don't have a vision and as ei says they are an exception. y'all have such a big hate boner towards power of friendship that every sudden powerup is such for y'all. traveler's powerup against ei makes sense

You know damn well Ei prepared that banger of a music while getting holed up in that domain expansion of hers
The second part is AMAZING it goes perfectly with what happened, we fight with everyone’s ambition to demolish the vision hunt decree!! This is by far the best archon quest in Genshin this battle felt like a final boss battle of a game
I love how in P2 the Inazuma theme played by the flute, represent Ei's sadness and lonliness (by being the only instrument alongside the base rythm) while all the othes instrumets are the ambitions of the Inazuman people who reply in open defience and inciting her to move on for the good of the Nation and ultimately herself and her resistance to it can heard around 6:15

2nd phase, it's just pure chills man. PURE. CHILLS. I was having goosebumps the entire fight on that phase and prolong the fight as long as possible just to enjoy the vibes.
Listening to this really makes me wish you could replay quests
Really love how they took modern day techno and old fashioned Japanese style music and mashed them together into this awesome soundtrack. Does a good job of bringing old and new together in a clash as blinding as flashing lighting fast and hard, matching the fight itself. Really wish I could fight with Ei again just to experience this again in game.
The fact that the bassline rumbles so consistently like thunder just makes these tracks fucking gems.

That part between the 1st and 2nd phase was something way too good.
I was using MC ( I'm ar 57 but I tend to bench my op characters when it comes to story quests and let my well built physical MC do everythibg ) in the entire run and man the music is soo good I am able to dance through all of her phase 2 attacks dodging almost everything perfectly, It's that good to the point even though I dont know her moves in that time period I can keep dancing with her just by being in sync with the music.

Raiden Ei's theme having a techno/dance type feel indicates that she is disconnected from Inazuma despite knowing its basic themes, which are repeated in her music.
If you think raiden is a feared badass and strong af just remember zhongli is supposed to be even stronger since it is stated he is the strongest of the archons… that just gives me goosebumps damn

I know she's no longer our enemy but I kind of wish she became the weekly boss instead signiora, kind of like how childe is a weekly boss but is still a playable unit. Even tho I hated fighting her bc I'm a weakling haha, I do think the battle experience was great, i think it would've been a waste of potential for her battle to be limited in just the main story
Disclaimer: it is *MY OWN* opinion that Signiora becoming a boss and dying came too early and too rushed, since I think it would've been better for scaramouche to be the harbringer that's our main focus for Inazuma, they could've inserted la signiora more further down the main story instead. I don't mind her dying (for the plot, not bc i hate her), but yeah I think it could've been done better
Maybe they are making all the fatui boss fights weekly boss fights, and if that's their plan I wonder what implications that will have. Such as a special quest where you have to defeat all the fatui harbingers in a single run, and they are setting these up along the way to prepare us incase we want to train for the fights.

When I heard the first phase for the first time and seen her only walk menacingly I legitimately had a heart sank moment and felt basically I was gonna die. It was that damn scary.
Man I remember when she went into the 2nd phase, Ei was just finished her slashing move while I accidentally pressed Zhongli’s auto for too long that he marched towards Ei. Both of them backed each other, they happened to release their last stance at the same time and the beat dropped, it looked soooo cool, it felt like time just stopped at that moment. I wished I screenrecorded it beforehand😭
It's a shame this isn't a weekly fight. Would really love to do her fight more often.

Ei's bossfight reminds me heavily of Ludwig The Holy Blade (Blooodborne) or Slave Knight Gael (Dark Souls 3) bossfights (the bossfight style, the theme, the OST, etc), and it's a very good thing!! In the first phase Ei's *heart* and mind is still closed, depicted by the ominous OST and darker "domain expansion" lighting; In the 2nd phase, she regains back her sense of self after centuries being a hikikomori, she smiled, the area becomes brighter, then she fights us as if she's having fun. It's analogous to Ludwig/Gael that in the first phase they were mindless beast, while the 2nd phase they regain their sense as a Knight/Warrior, fought honorably.

The entire time in inazuma we were getting a lot of info about inheriting ambition and using the power entrusted to you by others. So imo the power up the traveler gets makes sense, we will likely see more of it in the future too. Also ei was definitely bot giving her 100% in that fight as she was beginning to not believe her own words. This is what lets us win. As miko says we're still not close to ei power-wise, but seeing the traveler get closer to a rather powerful archon is a good show of growth and progress

5:16 i feel like this one specific part was supposed to be the traveler’s heartbeat since it was their first time fighting an archon instead of working with them but it doesn’t really sound like a heartbeat so not sure
Its really means the fight really well the theme rhythms and situation really fix together and the fierce fight also really give you something really best song

Signora was the better fight mechanically and I'm glad she's the one we can rematch and farm.
God damn though, I'd love to be able to rematch this boss. Especially if there was an actual segment where you had to fight her without abilities. Also if there was a version of the last phase without any sort of buff, I could see this being very intense, especially with the top notch music and atmosphere.
