Immediate cheat scenario at around 7:00. Text says if you cannot take 2 damage, you dont have the option to choose between damage or discard 1 asset. You have to discard an asset unless you can't

Regarding the "fail by 2 or less" skill check card, I interpreted the rules , with the help of the "Grim Rule" to mean that we have discard that card on the attempt (not just on the success) i.e. you use it like a Skill card: you first offer the card up to the gods, and you lose it whether you win or lose the skill test. Cheers.
Lucky is a [fast] event and not a skill card. Fast means that you do not pay an action for it. There is additional text that states you may only play it if you be currently failing by 2 or less. Due to all this you play it in response to something that you are about to fail. I can find the FAQ reference if need be.
27:15...you did draw a card but not a resource....which means you drew yourself and extra card...might need something to log your activities more accurately
Hi. You made some mistakes during the game. First of all: Survival Instinct is a skill card, so when you play it, you consider both its icons and text. You did not have to throw away the second card from your hand to avoid the ghoul priest. Secondly: You can not go directly to the basement from the attic; you have to go through the hall. Thirdly: While checking the test to avoid the second swarm rats, you pulled out a "skull" whose value depended on the number of ghouls. There were two of them in the game, not one, so you should fail the test, which means that the rats should stay in the game. Despite this and light chaos, a good game.
