showing the premium ship as a beginner ship is a bold move lol
gotta have dreams fam :D
Very bold move Cotton.
Alphas, we’re on our own
lol, good luck if you still use a Venture. I fitted a Praxis with 6 mining II lasers and crammed as many cargo expansions on the darn thing as I can. It basically outperformed a Venture both in mining yield and cargo limit alone.
Plus, the sight of 6 mining lasers firing at 6 different rocks makes it feel like you're doing a lightshow at a local rave party, pretty rad...
@@HattaTHEZulZILLA86 have you tried the mining abaddon? ;D
I've been playing EVE for just a few weeks, now . . . chose to focus on INDUSTRY, first . . . have lost some ships along the way attempting to mine low sec areas, going in unprepared. oh-well. The aspects exposed in this video are new to me. I look forward to exploring them. Thank you for sharing.
Phase 1: Reduce the amount and types of ore available in certain regions
Phase 2: Make a CZcams video about industry to influence newer players to use up those materials
Phase 3: Have more awsomesauce badass record breaking PVP Battles!
Phase 4: Sell a discounted skin
Love it, so glad to see you guys actually talking about the industry thing.

I've been having this haunting notion that once I finally get my production lines setup, the patch notes will say: *PI was a mistake...*
But now you are advocating this to the crowds. Let the POCO Wars commence...
POCO wars are done bud, was years ago :)
@romaneeconti02 It is not a serious comment regarding POCO wars, it was hyperbole. I just got back into EVE after ages of not playing.
Thanks for the input. I understand that PI has had a less ideal effect on the game. I can understand effort vs reward, but it's difficult to balance the mechanics differently without a total rework.
I have a feeling whoever designed PI was a wizard... (serious)
in vid: "relaxing" irl: "THE NUMBERS THE NUMBERS FUCKING CHRIST SAVE ME THE NUMBERSAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The only problem is that I can't find an asteroid filed that hasent already been cleared so i cant mine anything
The best time to mine is after the server resets.. for me it resets at 3am
try ice mining, either get bumped forever or blown by some guy with 20 accounts LOL
Yeah multi boxing kinda push me away after years of dealing with it.
Standard CODE MO. I doubt they will stop even if you fork out that 20 million ISK. Just another bunch of delusional morons...
Not just CODE though. More than a few miners out there with their own fleets on standby to eliminate competition.
Heck- some miners even hive intel directly to the gankers for this purpose!
The irony when they turn and complain when competition is gone and they now get ganked. #evelife

Is this game as good as the late Battlestar Galactica Online?
Hey Archer, Infamous of Libran server back in the days, i started playing eve as soon as bsgo shut down.
Its a very different game from what bsgo was, it takes time and patience no p2w (unless you like to spend thousands to skill inject) But its super fun and the community is awesome!
@@nxcrewrambo9818 Awesome! So EVE is not p2w? That's what I was most afraid of, I might install and give it a try!
@@ArcherAC3 No its definently not p2w, the only thing thats p2w in the game is as i said ”skill injectors” which can get you into different ships and train up skills you need for it ect. But you can have the most skilled account and the most expensive ship and still die and lose it all, so its a very trail and error game, you die sometimes and learn, the tutorial in eve for beginners is pretty great so im sure youll have a great time trying it out to see if its your kinda game!
dude eve online has no peer or competition
@@ArcherAC3 the only thing that I'd call 'p2w' in EvE is multi-boxing, which means a single dude can fly many ships at the same time while you only get one without paying. Even then, there's much room for skill and brains to keep you out of those situations. As a new player myself, I recommend eve very much
Mining in high sec... Code gank newbros players....
Which is why u tell them to stay away from market hubs :)
@@EveOnlineTutorials Honestly the entire security status and ganking mechanic system needs an update. Gankers have become far too complacent.
hands off my gas clouds
Where's project nova
Noob Mining Guide : Do not mine in High Sec. You'll get ganked by 'tards too afraid to fight against actual warships.
While in lowsec, you'll get ganked the moment you undock/gate jump in... for no reason at all.
In any case, you're pretty much fucked.
@@HattaTHEZulZILLA86 To be honest lowsec is the scariest place , null is safer realy
@@nikolajjankov4779
But getting there is the problem, wormholes either do that safely or lead you to the very place you want to avoid.
nullsec is the best place to be. Always has been. Keep in mind that CCP mentality is : "Great risks, great rewards". Living in nullsec is safer for miners because local is either allies or enemies. There is not 20 persons that may or may not be there to kill you. CCP agenda is to push, not to say FORCE, people to team up. They want EVE to feel unsafe (gank is HS, filaments, wormholes, etc). This is why moon mining is really profitable (a lot of effort), and why most of ores are now in lowsec (unsafe. And complete trash).
Nah veldespar Is my life
Well, mining in highsec is zero profit now
We are still waiting for the extinction of T2.BPOs !!! ... Give some type of reparation to the T2.BPOs holders ... and finally allow the free market to work without this kind of advantages !!!
I have MANY t2 BPO's and I can tell you it holds no advantage what so ever. They are status symbols now that is it. With invention you get bpcs that hold better values and efficiencies. Out of all the t2 bpos I hold only now after 13 years! Have i started to make any isk on it.
Disable T2BPO
Remove JITA
와 한국어 자막 넘 좋다
Makes mining almost seem not boring
@tzarbg123
Just even try jumping in that gate to lowsec in your mining ship and prepare to be 'greeted' by lasers, missiles and bombs by the all too trigger happy folks there... for no reason at all whatsoever.
@romaneeconti02
Just once, during a distribution mission to lowsec. Yet for me, it's one time too many.
Lost a Tayra to a red player who for no reason and unprovoked put me in some kind of a warp block and I had to eject and leaving behind my Tayra (along with my cargo) as soon as I undock from a station there. Haven't stepped in lowsec ever since.
For me, the risk is NOT worth reward for my non pvp focused playstyle.
multilog and botting....... :/
its killing every mmo
one sad thing is that planet infrastructure is omega which is like the only way to fully enjoy the game
yea so sad we have to pay for having an experience created by other people :(
@@Crenshaw41 yeah at least if they made some of the omega skills level one avalable to alpha it would be understandable I say this game is not free
@@Crenshaw41 you can't expect everything for free, entertainment comes at a cost, either you loose money or the devs do and the game shuts down
I have to keep saying this apparently, but Alpha clone is basically a "demo" experience (or replacement for the old system). EVE is a subscription game, alpha's are the demo clients. You are not supposed to be bale to do everything, especially indy.
@@saltylelele do you mean "not able to do", as those are late stage stuff, most newbies should be mining or mission running
"...create stuff, in order to be destroyed...? ...THUS CREATING A NEED FOR MORE STUFF." ?? ...that not much of an efficient economical model! :D
THE SUBTITLES FRENCH ARE IN GERMAN... this is no good.
You van hardly make money in industry (r&d)as a new player. Big boys with all the skills, setup, Bpos and money make the margins to small for a beginner to make it better then anthing els realy. And alphas cant even get sience V so they can forget about it all together
Ага производство когда копатьто нечиго
Cough. Cough. Octominers. Cough. Cough. Pay-to-mine. Cough. Cough.
This is after CCP did the biggest resource shortage phase of the game, and now they want new bros to be in the industry. Probably because they find too many experience players quite the industry because of the shortage phase.
You guys nerfed it. I still do it, but it sucks even worse now.
Subtitules en spanis pls :[
В смысле ролик, объясняющий одну из механик в EVE, идет каких-то 4 минуты, а не полтора часа? Не порядок
risk and reward is no longer a thing the more tedious and activity it is the more you get paid is the new Norm
mining is the most tedious activity in the game now you're going to hear asteroid depleted every 5 f****** seconds so you have no time to do anything else but mine if you choose to go that path
the risk is average reward it is crap
@romaneeconti02 it's impossible to fly that ship without being in a large group if there's a war going on that whole entire time you're not going to make any money at all if you're in a small group you'll eventually get hell camped then you can't use the thing at all cuz it's never safe to take it out and you go broke
Too bad the majority of Eve players only wants to shoot everyone and everything and make them go boom, even themselves. The clusterfuck that is Jita is the best example of this. For me, mining is the closest thing I can get to a fishing minigame in this uh... game.
While some groups of people just deploy their legions of their death dealing battleships to destroy... a single Athanor... in highsec systems, just so they can get to see a big boom.
lol you think battleships are death dealing? well you ain't seen nothing bud, they deploy multiple titans to kill a single POS in null
@@general_prodigy
To be fair, I never went to null so I wouldn't know. I just think a fleet of battleships attacking an Athanor, in hisec no less, is just stupid. What harm can an Athanor really do that somebody would send out a fleet of them just to render one useless? Did the one who made that station killed their entire family irl or something? Or did they simply refuse to 'fellatiate' that attacking group or something?
I'm just saying that mining is already hard enough as it is. Even in hisec. An athanor in hisec could help out newbies for industrialists get started properly without getting constantly shot at in Jita.
It's just "the way it is" in this game isn't it huh?
Mining as fishing? O_o I don't know, dude... I'd say scanning is way closer to fishing.
@@1kvolt1978
The waiting for the lasers to pop the rocks part is more akin to fishing to me at least...
@@HattaTHEZulZILLA86 they take out the athanor because either it is from a war decced copr, they want the athanor on their killboard, or they want to remove the competition, or just for the lolz
