Kyle Kuzma left social media for a few days and returned with Puma's new commercial for his signature sneakers. No matter what he does, some fans seem always to have a problem with him. In this video, I go back to the time the Lakers drafted him in 2017 and attempt to give a fair assessment of his career thus far.

talkin bout kuz, he is really good and he is steadily improving, the pieces around him off the bench this year fits his play style because he is really good at moving off the ball, reason why lonzo got so much assists off him, now playing with guys that attract the defense and willing passers, all he gotta do is find open lanes and run hard in transition, the stuff that made him so successful in his first 2 season, match that with an improving jumper and we got ourselves a gem that can grow with AD Dennis and Trez in the future coz bron will eventually retire, kuz can take the reigns on that SF spot when bron calls it a career
I really appreciate that man. I think Kuz put too much pressure on himself to score with the second unit and defense knew he was the only guy who could get his own shot. Now he has help with Schroder and Trez. I think we'll see him improve this year.
The answer is consistency. Cus even his first two years he was also inconsistent. I'm tired of all this talk about not getting minutes or opportunities. The reason we love Alex Caruso is his consistency and tenacity. No excuses. Kuzma needs to just ball and stop complaining.
I like Kuz, I think he has great potential. People mentioned his maturity, well I think his maturity in handling his role changing and staying positive is very mature. I agree he could be an all:-star. I’d love to see Kuz break out!

Because alot of fans thought he was better than Jason Tatum and he wasn't. He's overrated compared to his peers

Laker fans run hot and cold. KCP knows. Kuz overachieved for where he was picked. We expected him to get astronomically better when we got Bron and AD. He needs to ball out this year to get that “sizable contract” he wants. Bc if he’s looking like the weak link on our improved team (on paper), we’ll let him walk.
