    I also love this video and hope at some point that the four parts of Queen Ingrid’s story can be shown with English subtitles. Queen Ingrid had such beautiful eyes, and Frederik was so handsome!

      Not for the whole video. I saw them for the first several minutes and then they disappeared. They weren't very good even when they were there actually.@@denig2000able

      Copywrite. Happens on a lot of videos. Nothing the poster can do.

    At 10:28 Princess Sybilla who married Ingrid's eldest brother and is the mother of the current King of Sweden is on the extreme left of the picture and behind Princess Ingrid is the late Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alice. Think this wedding was that of Lady May Cambridge, daughter of the Earl of Athlone (Queen Mary's brother) and Prince Alice, Countess of Athlone. Sybilla was the niece to the Countess of Athlone.

      What are you talking about?

  • @shan40vans
    @shan40vans Před 6 lety +2

    It was so tragic that her mother died at such a young age. Could have not been at all easy to adapt to Louise Mountbatten. The people from that generation of the Mountbatten family possible with the exception of Prince Philip's mother were not very nice I dont think. Certainly Loiuse's brother Louis was quite an awfully pushy man.

      Louise was an incredible woman, have you also read about her nursing and her WWII involvement?

    • @SR-iy4gg
      @SR-iy4gg Před 8 měsíci

      You clearly don't know what you're talking about. There was nothing at all wrong withe the Mountbattens. In fact, Louise was highly praised by her stepsons for being a good mother to them. She even had a few stepgrandchildren given the name Louise as a middle name. You should just delete your nasty comment as you clearly don't know anything about the people you're writing about and passing judgement on.
