I am Baptist but leaning towards Orthodoxy. I have a tone of mixed feelings. The best way I can put it is after the health world said fat is bad it will clog your arteries and then new research comes out and says, actually fat (butter, etc) is good for you. Moreover, you also find out your ancestors consumed fat, not margarine.
Western Christianity is very political, especially Baptist (saddens me)
Exactly...So what’s stopping u? I’m a convert too...was in Protestant churches (including Baptist) for decades ..Best decision I ever made!
