The unit's BT is not used for audio at all only for initial hand shake when you start the car and only needs to be paired the very first time. Nor does any AA config use BT for audio, I know of, other than calls . Your car's BT is used for calls only thereafter, as before, otherwise the BT sound would come from your phone speaker and if it were deep in your pocket people you call wouldn't hear you either. You can verify this, if it's working correctly, by looking at your phone's BT settings whilst AA is active and you will see your head unit's BT blue and active and the MA1 as merely paired - modern phones with BT 5.0 and upwards can have multiple instances of BT devices. All other sound (Google Assistant voice commands, music etc.) and video of course, is over 5GHz wifi connection, not 2.4GHz (the MA1 doesn't have 2.4GHz, I think this 5GHz is a hidden network so understandably it's not obvious), and acts just as if you were connected via wired USB. 5GHz will use more battery than 2.4GHz (and get slightly warmer), it would seem but I haven't noticed a huge drain difference with the MA1 with my Samsung, which works great for me but your phone might be different. I'm only saying all this as some people seeing your video may get the wrong idea of how the MA1 actually works, as I did initially before I bought it. Thanks.
I have a USB underneath the tray of the center arm rest in my Ford Focus.
I wonder if the transmitting is strong enough to allow placement there?
Does this turn off when the ignition is off? I wouldn't want it draining my battery
Can you watch Netflix or video streaming with this?
Does navigation fully work on google maps with this device ?
This or aawireless? I have pixel 7 pro
Maybe it's a stupid question, but do you have to pair it again when you're changing cars? Or you just pair it once and afterwards you can use it with any car you want? 🙂
No not stupid at all! You will have to pair it again since it works alongside the car's Bluetooth.
No lag???
Google pixels phones are overheating when you look at them...
Any know if youtube or Netflix will play on this
No it wont. Its the same as just plugging your phone in, but without the cable.
Lol i pay $50 for nothing I want to see youtube🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@SergioHernandez-yc7iiwhere ! I seen them for 90
I purchased one of these when I had my Pixel 6 Pro. Absolutely hated that phone BTW, bluetooth on it really was awful, I use bluetooth a lot, I have it paired to my continuous glucose monitor for my T1D, my smart watch, and my car. While the experience wasn't great with the Pixel, it wasn't bad. I mostly had issues when it was trying to answer calls, or immediately after answering the call I'd have to reboot the phone. Again, I'm inclined to blame the Pixel 6 Pro for that, as it gave me all kinds of other bluetooth issues. I'm on a Galaxy S23 Pro now, and all of my bluetooth woes have gone away. Haven't done a long drive on the MA1, but it really shouldn't be any different than the built in wireless android auto in any newer car in how it works, shouldn't cause any overheating issues (no long term issues in my wife's Equinox with that feature anyway) on several hour trips.
Also, for charging, if you don't like wires, I have invested in a wireless phone mount, tucked the cables behind body panels, and it is working out quite well. I can unplug the charger if I don't want it to keep charging, or let it fast charge the phone no problem. One less wire to see (because it's tucked), and it works quite well.
I got a S22 Plus!!!
What was the youtuber who is very detailed and android sees the different animations in different Android versions?
Congrats on the s22+!! I think you're talking about In-Depth Tech Reviews
