    Thank you for posting and for keeping these old clips up. Back in the 80s and 90s, here in the US I could belatedly watch most of Blackadder and some of Jeeves and Wooster, but never UK chat shows, so obviously missed appearances by Stephen Fry (and all the other guests).

    I get the feeling Stephen had a sniff of cocaine before this appearance, you can see the difference in his eyes. He talks fine, but behind the eyes you can see something is bit off. Glad he stopped before it became a big addiction.

    Fry's public persona, pre-Belgium was always toff-like and irritating. Most probably he was coked-up 90% of the time. He's much more relaxed now, but still a dick from time to time. Aspel, by contrast, is relaxed and professional as ever.
