      Brian Swarthout Just one question sir: at 4:15 you say that di is between C and 2f but how can that be possible? since f = (1/2)*C ==> 2f = C, right? so you're basically saying "di is between C and C." Is this right, or am I missing something? Thank you

      Al Infinity Yes, you are right, it should say di between C and f. Sorry about that, thanks for catching my error and thanks for pointing it out to me…..that must be a copy and paste error from the convex lenses where it would say the image is between f and 2f when the object is beyond 2f. Again thank you, I will add a note to the video right now.

    I've been looking for a decent resource on this for days and this is the first time I've actually seen the effects compared based on the position of the image. I cannot thank you enough, I wish that one day an $80 text book would be half as good as your explanations.

    Immediately clear and effective explanation! I watched some other videos on the same concept and was still confused, but this was the exception for me. Also, I appreciate the length. Some videos are ~15-20min, which can take a lot of time. Thanks for the help!

    Love this video! Just wanted to point out though that in scenario 1 (do>C), you mentioned that di is between C & 2f. However, in the diagram you have it between C & f (and also you mentioned that C=2f) so I think that was a typo!
