    Did you work out the lower seat. Website says 820/840 optional. I sat on this at motorcycle live and was really impressed however the seat felt so tall which put me off being only 5.7. I sat on the clx 700 adventure which has a 830mm seat and that felt much lower.

    upgrades is mostly aesthetics.. not sure if the additional 50cc is noticeable. if they also added the cruise control like the clx. i think it will be the best middle weight bike on its category

      I read on another comment that they licensed the old design of the Kawi 650 engine, so my guess is that they wanted to use a proprietary engine instead of a licensed one, if the 698cc is theirs to begin with.

    Hi, nice video. I have a question, I'm interested in the bike but I don't really understand how much hp it has. If it's the same engine as the CLX it shouldn't have 70/74 hp. on the cfmoto mexico site the mt 700 has 74hp while on other sites it has 67. Do you know anything about it? I'm starting to think they declare less CV for taxes but I don't think so.

      It’s to do with emissions, in the UK we have very strict Euro VB to comply with you’ll see that the power stays on many bikes and cars are notably different to those in America, Asia and Australia who have more relaxed laws. The bikes are electronically ‘restricted’ to ensure they pass. I expect a dyno flash and exhaust would make a world of difference to these bikes.

    USA does not seem to have the 700MT, we get a 450, the 700 CL and Ibex 800's. Disappointing! Traction Control? No cruise control?

    They should include the luggage. It could be their niche that no one else does. It sure makes the 650 more attractive.

    • @bikesanctuary
      @bikesanctuary  Před 2 měsíci

      Their niche is that they’re built as well as Japanese bikes but significantly cheaper and come with a 4 year warranty and pretty much lifetime breakdown cover for free.

    What's best between this and the Benelli TRK 702 X?

    • @bikesanctuary
      @bikesanctuary  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Tough one, they're quite different. The CFMOTO would be the better daily and is perhaps marginally better in standard spec. The Benelli has alot more potential for off-road and enduro riding and is quite a bit taller, suiting some from a riding position perspective. They both share the same motor so they're similar on the road in terms of performance. So in our opinion for daily use/weekend hooning - the CFMOTO. For touring/offroad - the Benelli. Either way they're both very good machines in their own right.

    In europe 700mt comes with handguards, frames and laguage and we dont have two power mods just one but you can change your display look but it has nothing to do with power just screen look. And on your bike i didnt see either sport mode or something like this writen on the screen. And for me I felt difference between 650 and 700 I think and i felt that 700 is higher so be careful if somebody will be tip toe on the 650 maybe it will be a big problem on the 700 for him.

    I reckon they will still be making the 650, the 700 will never be learner legal in the Australasian market whereas the 650 is.

    They so missed the mark, a baby 800MT is what's needed. Something to compete with the Kove sub 200kg ADV bike that's well equipped. It's what everyone wants. This bike is pointless.
